Excuse me, the menu said this was $5.45. Yeah, sorry we haven't changed it yet. $5.95 for a tuna sandwich in midtown is not uncommon, but I have to be honest – I've never seen such high prices for mediocre food, with an average of 4 stars from others to boot. It's a convenient location for a quick lunch because there is a lack of other places nearby. Also had the driest roast beef sandwich here and the free wifi fails. Will definitely be bringing in my own lunch from now on. Also, quick tip for people who work around midtown transit hubs and lunch prices it seems the highest cost of a lunch is in order of highest to lowest would be: Grand Central to Port Authority to Penn Station.
Good option for a quick bite.
I've been here countless times over the past several years given its close proximity to my office. They offer a large variety of breakfast and lunch options comparable to other competitors in the Midtown East landscape. Pricing is reasonable, and there's upstairs seating if you feel like sticking around.
I like their breakfast sandwiches the best, especially the bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll. It's a sizeable portion and tastes pretty good. I'm not as impressed with lunch. The hot sandwiches have been fairly messy in my experiences, and I do not find the buffet appetizing on most occasions. However, I am a fan of the Mad Max cold sandwich and friends have complemented the quality of soups and salads.
Overall, this place has everything you need during the workday grind. It's not a bad option, but it does not stand out as significantly better than other like places in the area.
BREAD AND BUTTER IS AWESOME!! I really wish we had this in boston. i went here with a friend and thought the buffet options were actually a lot and they were really various. They had pastas and salads and even some ethnic food.
I honestly just got a yogurt parfait here and it was so good. I was made aware that its one of the more expensive places for a quick lunch pickup. But I really think the food options were good (I had some of my friends after my yogurt)
This is a seriously good deli. They have everything from soup and sandwiches to a nice buffet and sushi. The bibimbap is really good and it's only about $10. Shrimp tempura was all right also, but not best shrimp tempura however since they are the regular sized shrimp and not the jumbo variety. Udon noodles are fine. There is also a sandwich station, burrito station and a hot buffet. Buffet looks really good and presented well. will give that a go next. Prices are very reasonable. Seating area upstairs that is also very pleasing.
Their udon is one of the best in midtown. A good selection for hot buffet dishes. The line can get really long thus try to go before 12.
Don't bother. The food at this place was disgusting.
Unlimited salad toppings is the way to go here! Due to its traffic during weekday lunch hours, there is high turnover of ingredients so it is decently fresh. It's one of the cheapest salad spots if you love adding everything into the salad. You will get your money's worth.
Bibambap and ramen are among the cheapest as well in the immediate area. They make it right when you order it and they tend to be the shortest line. If you're not looking for authentic Korean, Japanese food, it is really okay.
The buffet is located in the back and I thought the options are pretty good. They have salmon, salads, chicken, and pasta.
Not too bad.
Good steamed sea bass and mashed and honey or agave nectar glazed sweet potato. Variety of food exist. soup options looks ammazing. It is cheaper than Dishes but the presentation amongst other physiological ques that draw ppl to want to eat is missing
