“still, it's nice to have an alternative to shake shack, especially in the winter when they're closed.”
“The onion hay and sweet potato fries are also really awesome.”
“With a side of onion hay (delicately fine red onion, lightly breaded) it's so good.”

I came here last night with a friend and we tried brgr for our very first times. I have to say that it's nice and cozy, with a decent amount of seating areas.
There are restrooms one labeled "carnivores" and the other "vegetarians." There seems to be a lack of maintenance in them, however. The toilet paper was on the handrail instead of the dispenser and there were no paper towels in the dispenser by the sink. The soap dispenser was malfunctioning and there's a sharp piece where one risks hurting themselves more than helping their hygiene.
When we first walked in, the menu took about five minutes to fully review and decide. When we ordered, the cashier-man was very helpful and informative of some of the items we had questions about.
We ordered the Fresh Morning, Beautiful Day, and the cheese fries. The fries beneath the cheese were delicious! The cheese looked like regular Kraft American cheese a few slices placed on top. It wasn't very melted or embedded with the batch of fries.
The Fresh morning I swapped out the cheese for the sweet onion marmalade. It was scrumpdiliuptious! I forgot to say well done for my order, but the burger came out well regardless. I was a happy camper! My friend also enjoyed her brgr. She posted about it on Dish or Dysh? I am not familiar with that social media application.
The booth area matches the bathroom backwash, but I think it's meant to look like burger patties with the cushions. It's a cute feature. The overall ambience of the space looks like you're in a barn, which makes perfect sense being that the overall theme are the grass-fed beef/cows.
We loved the fries so much, we went back to order the Trio which was russet-sweet-hay (fries, sweet potato fries, and onion hay fries). That was really good too and stuffed us up well. Do not order it solo if you're having a brgr. Definitely share.
The prices for their brgrs are around $10.00 to $12.00. Their Trio goes up to just over $6.00.
The cashier guys try to get your orders out fast, and so when we went back for the Trio, I thought he was asking me something, but he was asking to take the order of the guy who appeared behind me. And I barely even took my cc back from payment, and didn't start moving yet. I think they should have a more organized series of processes to avoid confusion and over-or-under-stepping of customers.
Happy eats!
Good basic burger, better than a fast food burger but not as good as a place like Bareburger or Shake Shack. Fries are not that great. Very similar to Joy Burger if you've ever been there, but Joy is slightly better. Good shakes though.
Prefer the 3rd & 61st location as it's much less crowded.
To be honest, I can't really taste the difference of a grass fed cow and otherwise. Can you really?
Sweet potato fries and onions are both very extraordinary
See what's wrong with the comment above? Cause it's a burger place!
Walked in hoping for a quick meal as we were tight on time. IT was Sunday night and the restaurant was winding down. Still, it shouldn't have taken what seemed like a half an hour to get a veggie burger and turkey burger done. As it was, the burgers themselves were pretty good. Prices are kind of obscene, though, and the fries, which are a separate item (even with a $10 burger), were undistinguished. Bottom line: staff was friendly and the burgers are pretty good, but for $25 for two burgers and a side of fries, you can find better options in this city.
I ordered the turkey burger with bacon and cheese. I thought the burger was okay but the turkey patty was quite small and not that flavorful. Also tried some fries and they were not great.
I had an Expresso milkshake and for a place that says it's Voted Best Shake in NYC I expected much better (like Bareburger=). It kind of tasted like a vanilla milkshake with Expresso flavoring and I have definitely had better. It was totally mediocre.
I was not impressed. It's not worth the money I paid for the meal. I will not be coming back.

I love the cute names for their burgers. Get a blueberry pomegranate shake – it's delicious.
Prices are higher than I'd expect for portion size and flavor. I hope they're not charging extra for the PR team who came up with the branding and cute burger names like "beautiful day" burger. Burger is alright but a little too greasy and not enough flavor I expected.
Decor here is like rustic 70s; funny vibes. Service is erratic and on slow side. Sometimes I've had great smooth and fast service; another time I had to wait 30+ minutes for a burger in a near empty restaurant.
I bring everyone here that I know has not been here yet. This is my favorite "fast-food" burger [other than Shake Shack].
I always get the Beautiful Day burger – burger, amercian cheese, brgr sauce, grilled onions, tomatoes and pickles. The brgr sauce is like a tangy thousand island/lighter than thousand island mayo-y type of sauce. It's tasty. I think I tried the Fresh Morning once and it was also amazing, but with the fried egg on it, it was time to get messy.
The russet potato fries are thin but delicious. I love a good sweet potato fry but can't say they were that memorable.
I enjoy a good fresh lemonade, it reminds me of summer and carnivals.
The atmosphere is "hip" with cool light fixtures and seating. And not to sound like a total weirdo and ask for no judgment, the bathrooms are my favorite color blue and perfect for selfies.
*Highly recommend.
