I would like to describe the service as express service. I never really have to wait to pay for my coffee and bun. The people behind the counter are quick, swift, and efficient. The location of this bakery is situated right where I have to run my weekend errands so it is very convenient for me to pick up and go. The buns have their unique taste like all bakeries. I would like to point out that there is not one bakery where I can say taste the same as an other. Every baker have their unique style and twist. My go to bun at Broadway would be a Coconut Cluster Filled and a Hot Dog bun of course. The coffee is pretty strong. I would suggest just getting a size small but if you think you can handle a strong cup of Joe then be my guest.
WOW. Can't get any better than this! For two plain slices and a can of soda for just $3.50…even if there are tons of Halal carts and a huge food court in the mall, this place wins! If you are seriously eating on a budget and you don't want McDonalds (gross), this is the place to go! The pizza is really crispy and made with lots of cheese, and they have tons of other options for food such as bagels and desserts. I'm sure all of the items there are just as affordable and enjoyable.
Had no idea they changed the name. This place was called House of Andy for the longest time. The bags that each Roast Pork Bun or pastry is labeled Broadway Bakery or House of Andy.
Been coming to this place every time I visit my family and friends in NYC. For me its a place to grab several Roast Pork Bun, Red Bean Bun, etc…
They also have a luncheon special here as do many of the other Asian restaurants in the vicinity. Walk towards the back and check out their daily selection. It's okay but I stick with the baked items here as well as the coffee/tea.
Bakery located right next to Asian Supermarket called New Golden Sparkling- They use to be called Kam Lun. Subway station to get off is Grand Avenue- The R or M subway line. Come up the stairs and you see so many little shops. There is a Starbucks too across the street and another Bakery- Fay-Da (which is a chain of bakeries all over Queens and Manhattan) located not too far away.
