Delicious pizza with a unique sauce. I tried a plain pie and the crust was extremely crunchy and thin. The cheese was sort of under the sauce, but not complete like you'd find in Chicago. The sauce was tangy and full of flavor. I'm a huge fan!
Always the best!! Purchased a chicken parm specialty pizza, fried calamari and garlic bread with cheese. And it was amazing!! This is my 3rd time ordering and they never failed me!! The chicken parm had lots of sauce and globs of ricotta cheese all around. Garlic bread was suggested since they didn't have garlic knots and I will order that again, cheesy goodness!! Calamari is always on point. I always ask for extra crispy!!! Thanks guys for a great Sunday Linner (lunch/dinner)!!
Great pizza….thin crust crispy but for the cheese…their tomato sauce is on top of the cheese n not under the cheese. Also got a 1/2 tri-color n 1/2 margarita.
Also got some of their Cannolis…theirs is 1/2 covered in chocolate for their shells.
Love the crispy crust pizza!!! Ordered another pie while still eating the 1st pie 🙂
We ordered a half and half specialty pizza (no extra cost to do half and half!). We chose "the works" and a white, ricotta, and spinach! Great for a couple who have different pizza cravings like us! The pizza came out thin, crispy, and hot! For me I prefer the middle to be a tiny bit crispier but the crust is perfectly crispy. The flavors were quite good and toppings were plentiful (my pet peeve at pizza places where they can cheap out a bit here).
We also ordered a stuffed shells entree which came with a side salad and bread. The bread came warm and the side salad was pretty big which was nice so we could share.
My only "complaint" would be that the large pie is $17.95 versus the small is $16.95. As two people, we would have preferred an option to do a smaller pie at a lesser cost since we were also ordering a stuffed shells entree; there was a lot left over. We also sprung for the filled to order cannoli. No regrets the cannoli was amazing!
It's a small restaurant so I wouldn't suggest coming with a group over 4 people. They mostly have small two person tables. Seems like most people order and pick up but I did overhear that they deliver to the hospital nearby so that's nice as well.
Yum yum yum!!! Thin crispy crust combined with delicious toppings- you can't ask for more! A good place to go after spending a long day walking in the mall on a Sunday evening.
Love the variety of the slices and the unique toppings at this spot. The slices are big and pretty affordable. We went during lunch on a weekday and it was busy although not packed. We tried 5 difference slices – plain was probably my least favorite while buffalo chicken and chicken parm were solid. The pizzas were good but at the end of the day I thought the crust was too cracker-like, as opposed to the chewier kind of thin crust that I prefer.
Had a great sandwich to go last week. I think it was the Soprano. At $9.95 it was kind of pricey but it was really good. A fresh roll stuffed with mozzarella and prosciutto with sweet red peppers with some basil and a balsamic dressing, was an outstanding taste sensation.
I read the slices were pretty big here, so I stopped by to grab a few. They have quite a variety on display, but based on the pictures, you can tell which are the most popular ones. The place has seating inside and out, so you could stop by for a bite in or for the road.
Buffalo Chicken Slice: Meh, it's alright. A lot of people head to trattorias for buffalo slices, but it's nothing special to me. Note that this is my first time ever having such a slice. The good here is that there is plenty of chicken, bleu cheese dressing, and wing sauce on each slice. I've seen these elsewhere and other places tend to be pretty sparse on the toppings. They don't skimp at Brooklyn Boys.
Margherita Slice: It's simple, but I like it. I do agree with another review that the cheese is a bit thin, but at the same time, you don't want the cheese to overpower the other ingredients. The tomato sauce is not overly tangy, so there's that. The Plain Slice is the same–it's simple but tasty. Cracker-like crunchy crust, cheese, and dollops of tomato sauce on top–that's it. The saltiness from the cheese blends well with the tomatoes.
Spinach/Mushroom/Feta Slice: I'm picky when it comes to veggies on pizza, but spinach has been a long time love. It's a good thing that there is more spinach than feta and mushrooms; that is a good thing for me. I prefer meat on my pizza, but I can't turn down this combination.
I like the extra toasty-crunchy crust on each of the slices. It's worth the five minute wait before paying. I'd come back here for the Margherita, the Spinach/Mushroom/Feta; I'd try some new toppings, too.
