The location is hidden away off of 2nd ave but very convenient for a quick fix of caffeine. I always pick up a cup of Joe after I am finished with my workout even if I don't need it because I am already stimulated from my workout. The coffee is tasty and the logo is amazingly cool.
Came here after a SoulCycle class and I loved it – it was the perfect refreshment after a workout. Their iced coffee and lattes are really good and the staff are really friendly.
Smallest coffee shop ever. If there's more than 3 people waiting for coffee, you have to wait outside, which can get annoying during hot summer days.
I saw that this was a new vendor within the CupsAPP, so I came to try their New Orleans style cold brew but it wasn't anything special..
There was just one guy working there and he was super nice!
Discovered this cute little place after reading through my friend's post – apparently I made a wise decision!
The coffee shop was so tiny that could not even hold a single table inside; however they sell a variety of stuff. What attracted me the most was the fruit chips – will for sure grab a bag next time!
Complex coffee, friendly staff!
Location:
coffee shop seems to be the unabated bit for entrepreneurs to pursue. Brooklyn Diamond coffee might be one of the new comer for the overrun coffee hip in NYC. However, this place is too small to allow more than 3 people inside the store. There is only one staff working at the counter, who controls your coffee at Brooklyn Diamond coffee.
By the way, it is a right at E 54 street, close to a gym. (Sorry, I forgot the gym).
This place basically has everything – bakeries, coffee and random watery drinks.
Coffee:
I ordered their cold brew, which is very tasteful. I mean, who doesn't get plagued by the afternoon fatigue. Going here, I am very re-excited to the nightlife. in addition, they have decaf cold brew as well, or you can mix up your own flavor. In another word, they are small so they will do whatever you order. Isn't it a wonderful thing ?
Price:
Price of coffee has been climbing in Manhattan area. Normally, a coffee in Brooklyn is so much cheaper compared to Manhattan's. This place is relatively cheap. I would call it a great choice for the neighborhood.
Overall:
Coffee industry here may have been straining my money and living expense, but I really believe this place is worth the money to revisit.
It's good, at least their coffee bean is good. 4 STAR
Amazing New Orleans style cold brew but the place is tiny. Hard to even add sugar to your coffee without feeling claustrophobic.
They accept the cups app 🙂
New favorite coffee shop in the midtown area, and possibly even in the city (for now). While the term "coffee shop" might be a little generous considering the space consists of only a door and a counter, it is perfect for a quick stop in a busy neighborhood. I love their New Orleans style cold brew — great flavor and large sizes can really get ya through the work day — and the staff is always pleasant and efficient.
Normally, I'd knock off a star for price. BDC is nuts in that they charge $4.50 for a 20 oz. and a full $5 for a 24 oz. iced coffee. It IS very good though and the staff is generous with their punch card policy. I've also been using (and loving) the CUPS app #shamelessplug which knocks down the price of each iced drink by more than half — WELL worth it.
