To start off, the employees do not seem happy to be there. As my boyfriend and I walked in, we were not greeted and when we approached the hostess at the podium, the young lady turned her head in the opposite direction. Strange and awkward. We were taken to our table by another hostess without the most-est.
Sooo clearly we are there for wings… the waiter said that every option was okay… not great… not awesome… just okay. When I asked that he would recommend, he suggested a chicken wrap – really? Anyway, moral of the story, if you know what you want, don't bother asking for a suggestion.
We ordered 3 different wings – spicy garlic, mango habanero, and thai curry. the spicy garlic and mango were our favorites. it was finger-licking good. the thai curry is dry and not so great. we also ordered the garlic cheese fries with hot sauce from the seasonal menu. those were okay.
The seating area is large and there's a TV at every single corner. It is a great location for a sports event – that night was UFC fight but we did not stay.
Large venue. Good food. Not-so-great customer service.
Went here on a Friday night.
Wasn't really busy, but I'm assuming it's because they just opened & not too many people know that yet.
The security guard was friendly, the greeter was friendly as well.
The table they were trying to put us at (Table 63) was placed in a horrible location. Crammed behind a serving station.
The area was very cramped, and we couldn't even sit in our seats.
I couldn't pull my seat out because there was someone sitting behind me who wouldn't move and my boyfriend couldn't pull his seat out because of the serving station.
If they take out 2 tables from that section, it would be more comfortable.
Or here's a better thought, don't try to put big people in tight spaces?!
There were so many other empty tables, why were they trying to put us in the corner.
Were we on time out & we didn't know?
We ended up sitting at the bar, there was only one server for the whole bar & 3 bartenders but it took 20 minutes before got a drink.
They apologized, don't really fault them though, not their fault that they weren't properly staffed for a weekend night.
Took even longer before we got menus, but once we ordered, the food came quickly.
Maybe a little bit too quick.
The buffalo wings were kind of cold and the ends were super crunchy, but I was really hungry & I'm not not to send my food back because I'm afraid of what they would do to my new food lol.
The Jerk Chicken Sandwich was on point, just wish they gave a bit more fries.
I'll give it a little while before I come back here.
It has some promise, just need more people and more training.
The location is convenient for anyone who lives in the Canarsie area.
The service was pretty good and our server was very attentive. We had everything we needed and the service was fast despite there being a decent amount of people inside (I went on wing Tuesday for discounted wings :))
The space is quite large and there are huge flat screens everywhere, as most BWW's have. Compared to the TVs at the Atlantic Ave location, the TVs here are easier to see from anywhere you are sitting. Even at the bar, the huge flat-screen is positioned so that you don't have to break your next looking up while eating if you want to watch whatever game is playing.
My wings were delicious of course. I ordered all flats (wings only) and some soda. (Would've tried their liquor but I was driving) There was a good amount of sauce on the wings since we had asked for extra sauce because the wings tend to come out on the dry side if extra sauce isn't mentioned.
Since the location is in the Gateway Mall, parking is abundant and easy. I will be back here!
Fast service and really good wings. 65cent wing Tuesday special is what I go for! Margaritas are good and also the burgers are really good too. I had the one with the pulled pork on it and it was delicious! Lol Totally satisfied! I mean sorry i can't go into more details but they get the job done. Most waitresses I've had are about the same, pretty average.
Lots of tvs and sports everywhere. Lots of room for parking. It's just a decent place to get wings 🙂 lots of it lol
This was my first time going to a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant.
This is a great place to go if your looking to watch a game or any sporting event. They have over 50 big screen TVs, a full bar, and they don't care how loud you get. Personally, it was too loud for me, I had trouble hearing the waitress and the conversation.
I'll start with the good… which is the food, and the only reason why they get two stars. The food was fresh and tasty. We started with the Cheese Curds (fried balls of cheese). I had the boneless and traditional wings combo with half Parmesan Sauce and half sweet BBQ sauce.
Now the bad… The service is TERRIBLE!!! First, they forgot to call my name after waiting for over an hour. Then since it was a different hostess, she washed her hands of the issue and just blamed it on the previous hostess. In my company we take ownership of the problem at hand, regardless of the cause. We ultimately had to speak with a manager, who seated us in about 10 minutes, if not who knows how much longer we would have waited to be seated. Since it was our first time there we weren't familiar with the sauces and how to order. So when the food came not as expected and we had to send it back, the waitress seemed bothered.
Now to the bill, which was broken down into two sections, appetizers and entrée. Which made it look like I was being billed twice for taxes. Again, the waitress looked bothered I was asking about the bill. I felt at every turn I was met with a defensive, sassy, and almost rude attitude.
Long story short, the food was good but the service was terrible. I would try this restaurant again, but not this location.
Happy Yelping 🙂
I came here for the first time and it was terrible! We went on a Monday night got the unlimited refills and we order our first set of wings and the wait was 40 minutes! While we were waiting the wait or comes over and says "sorry for the wait there is a lot of chicken in the back". Finally we get our food and it didn't even taste so good it taste like it sat out for a while before giving it to us. They also asked for our next order while we were eating because it would take a long time again. All of a sudden a different waiter comes over with wings for us and than our waiter kept coming out with wings for us we never ordered! I would never come to this one ever again.
Well from the moment I walked in I knew it would be a mess . The girls in the front were not professional and the manager walked around without seeming to care . Food took 45 minutes to come , because I asked Thea manager where it was after 40 minutes of waiting after being seated . Sent it back it looked disgusting and left . Waitress didn't care , we just left .
