Okay, I'm going to have to agree with the other reviewers. The service in this place sucks.
I was here for lunch with my bro. We got 20 wings between us and a spinach and artichoke dip, as well as a tall glass of blue moon.
I suppose it is because the location is fairly new and the staff are most likely untrained but there are just so many problems!
The kitchen staff was pretty bad. They forgot to heat up my spinach and artichoke dip (which btw comes in a smaller cup than the bww in long island) and also forgot to give us red pepper and other veggies.
The bartender didn't fill up my beer all the way to the top… Seriously???
The waitress tried her best but forgot tons of things such as extra napkins and paper bowls for the bones and such. She was very nice though. What I don't get is that there were so many waiters/waitresses but my particular waitress was extremely busy and hard to grab hold of (though she was pretty good at checking up on us from time to time). A lot of them were just standing around the entrance talking to each other at times so maybe it was because of that. Or maybe they just need more staff. It's hard to tell but management should seriously do something about the service here.
I swear all the employees here did not finish high school. How difficult is it to count by six or remember a simple order? I usually frown upon chain restaurants, but bae had the munchies after we spent a couple hours at Spa Castle nearby. It took us TWENTY minutes to place an order for 18 wings at their take-out counter because the woman kept forgetting the three flavors we wanted and how many of each – she must have asked us to repeat them five times.
Additionally, she duplicated our order to the kitchen and had to disappear twice to cancel it in the back. They also did not carry change for a $100 bill, so she had to fetch her supervisor to complete the transaction. While waiting for our food, we sat at the bar and had a beer. Nothing special on the inside, just your run-of-the-mill modern sports bar. As we picked up our food and left, we tipped the take-out woman the equivalent of our bill because she needs all the help she could get if this is the furthest she's getting in life.
Btw, wings were decent. Just not worth the awful service. Please train your staff appropriately, or save yourself the time and hire people who are actually qualified to do the most basic of tasks.
It's been a couple months since I last visited the store, it's disappointing that nothing had improved….service was still terrible.
I went on half off Friday night because it was National wings day. The wait was 45 mins and we sat at the bar instead. It took almost 25 mins for our food to come. I ordered 2 dry rubbed but none was my wings were rubbed period. There was one thin layer of rub sprinkled on top of my wings and that's it, the other side had nothing. To make things worse, the serve gave us the wrong order from across the bar and they weren't the sauces we wanted. When we told our server, she's like quote 'let me take this away and put a order in for you'. My bf got hangry and asked for the wings we were already eating while we waited another 25 mins for our order. The server was like 'well, do you want me to charge you these?' Really!? What are you going to do with the rest of the wings!? She then talked to the manager and gave back the wings.
When our order finally came in, it was missing one sauce, but whatever, it was like 11pm by then. Same thing happened to the wings, they weren't shake, only one layer of rub barely sprinkled on top. I paid and tipped her after we were done, I wrote sorry to her about my bf being hangry and argued with her, but she could have handled it slighter better. But I think I am going to stick in hooters from now on.
This used to be a Boulder Creek, and one that my co-workers and I would go to for Happy Hour on occasion. If you remember the old BC and are wondering how the new BWW compares, I'll say it has a much nicer, updated interior and is far brighter than the BC was. It also has a ton of TVs, which was one gripe I had about BC: when I would go on a weekend with family, if you sat in the dining area there was a good chance your view of the TV (above the bar) was obstructed, at best. Here in the new BWW you will be hard-pressed to look in any direction besides the floor and not see at least one TV.
That's what earns BWW a third star: I can see the potential of coming here and having a drink while watching multiple games at once. The sound was off, though, so I wonder if it would be turned on for bigger games.
As for the food, I came here with my two sons after watching a movie, and I had a small order of wings (10), and you can get them in two flavors. I chose garlic parm and mild buffalo so that my son could have some. My son really liked the garlic parm, but I wasn't very into them. To be fair, I've visited two or three other BWWs with friends and I'm generally not a fan of their food, so this isn't a knock on this particular establishment.
My older son ordered the mini corn dogs off of the kids' meal, and the meal was definitely mini. Maybe 5-6 mini dogs? He was looking for more food after.
My younger son had the chicken tenders, which comes with three large tenders that were juicy and to his liking.
We then capped off with the Dessert Nachos. As small as the mini corn dogs order was, the nachos were HUGE. Four scoops of ice cream, fried cheesecake bites, etc. – enough for a table of four to share.
I'll make a note to come back one night to catch a game, and see what the atmosphere is like. They seem to be making a push for soccer fans to come through, if that interests you.
The BWW is in a great convenient location, within the shopping complex but my first visit came up short. I made it very clear that I wanted my wings WELL DONE and well done was NOT what they were! Wings that are emphasized to be well done, should not be soft and for sure NOT have some red inside some of the wings!! Another issue is when ordering the large wings (20), you have the option of splitting the types of wings. I was difficult to differentiate which wings were which….even with the little sticker. Perhaps a different system, especially when people order the hotter wings, keeping them separated from the regular/non-blazing hot wings.
Other than that, the food was just ok. My daughter's corn dogs and fries were more like fries with mini-corn dogs, but she liked it. The Buffalo Mac-n-cheese wasn't as good as I expected but wasn't bad, just not as good as I hoped.
The place was nice and clean and the staff was pleasant at least. I'm not sure if I will be back for sure to this location but I'm not sure if I will be so quick to choose BWW because this isn't the first time I've had issues with the wings. I do love the overall environment and if I do come back, I will be extremely descriptive of how I want the wings (the main reason for the visit) or I'm sending them back and leaving!
I was rushing to get lunch before work and low and behold I stumbled across Buffalo Wild Wings. I'm such a big fan of Buffalo Wild Wings. Idk why but I just am.
So I pull into the parking lot and they have a parking reserved for "Take out only". When you walk towards the door you'll see the sign that says takeout.
As I entered I saw a small little space excluded from the restaurant and I immediately thought it was cute and dope. It had seating for your wait and a tv to watch.
The young woman taking my order was very nice and spunky which was a plus. She explained the menu to me.
The great thing about this place at lunch time is that they have lunch specials like a mix and match for 7 and 8 dollars. I ordered Buffalo wings with a Caesar salad. I got 4 extra wings to bring home later to my husband so it came up to $10.45. Not bad at all.
She offered me something to drink while I waited but I declined.
The wait wasn't long at all. I say 10 minutes the most.
I'll definitely return and I recommend !
Food is great just like the other BWW. Their staff in front is friendly and seem to know what they are doing. They are attentive and kept acknowledging us (we had a larger party). Our server was nice. Started off on the wrong foot when we were seated because the staff in the front told us one thing but we weren't seated like advised. But she was nice and did come back to check on us a few times. We ordered but two of our orders were messed up. (Kids meal didn't come along with our other food and when it did come our cheese burger didn't have cheese). Going to come back again because the location is great and will give the benefit of the doubt that because they are still new they will be working out the kinks. They wait for the food is a bit longer than most tho
Where do I begin ? I am not sure if people are being too picky, just plain over reacting or service has improved ? because looking at some of the reviews your first impression would be to run In the other direction!!
I happen to be in the shopping mall & we wanted to get a bite to eat & some drinks.
We walked in & were seated right away , we were seated by the bar area.
Drinks we had the special promo for Sam Adams tried the IPA & Cold Snap , good IPA but it has a bit of an after taste the Cold Snap was great nice & cold good taste.
Food I went with the Parmesan Garlic & Bourbon Honey Mustard , good Parmesan garlic these had a little bit of a kick to them which I was surprised since I've tried these at other BWW's & they never seem to have a spicy kick to them either way it wasn't bad.
The Bourbon honey mustard were pretty good as well nice sweet taste.
My friend had the Mango Habanero & Honey BBQ mango habanero are good if u like them spicy these have the right amount of spice & sweet to them.
The Honey BBQ were good as well good tasting sauce.
As for the place itself looks bigger on the outside than it is typical BWW decor with plenty of TV's to catch any game on.
One common factor in most reviews seems to be the bad service now I get that not everyone can have a good experience overall our experience was good with the service our waiter was nice & friendly.
Service was a bit slow but not that big of deal since we were in no rush.
They have a decent amount of choices & depending on what u get prices are reasonable.
Easy meal if u stick to the wings & don't get too complicated.
