  1. Review is for their delivery service!

I have had consistently good service from them for many months now, with reliable timing estimates, nice people who care that you're a happy customer and pretty decent American food for the price.

Today I was the most annoying customer ever and ordered something to my apartment expecting it to be there later and they actually arrived before I got home and couldn't let them in! I felt really bad and kind of assumed they would just leave and not come back and that would be all, but they actually called me multiple times to see how to help and then the delivery man came back to my apartment later when I was home with my food! 2 trips and I still got my food and a smile from the nice delivery man.

4 stars only because sometimes when I order things with cheese on them it is not fully melted or super high quality

  2. I cannot lie, I eat at Bully's a LOT.  Breakfast after a morning run, dinner after a long day of work, via Seamless Web when the weather is cold, 2AM stop after drinking… this is my "neighborhood deli" and I'm grateful for its existence.  The prices are expensive compared to other delis in the city, but I'd say it's comparable to others in this particular area.  They're menu is also ridiculously expansive, so it's great to have so many options available to suit your every craving.

For food, the chicken gyro on a platter is king in my book.  The matzo ball soup is also quite excellent, as are the burgers, the chicken sandwiches, chicken fingers, club sandwich… i can go on but basically just insert any deli staple here.

I find the staff at Bully's to be very pleasant.  They're nice and funny – and they like to chat if it isn't too busy.  If I want  to get picky about the place, the cash register area is a bit of a bottleneck for customers trying to line up v. waiting for their food… but overall it is a solidly run joint.

  3. Decent deli right by my work — they have breakfast specials that get you a free coffee when you order a breakfast sandwich, which I appreciate. They have a large selection of sandwiches and salads, and even have hot food like chicken Marsala and meat loaf. This place gets packed, so going right before or after lunch is your best bet to avoid a wait.

  4. Got that late night munchies? Need a study break and just restoring your fuel? Bully's Deli is definitely the place to eat! Has pratically, anything and everything there is. Around campus for you NYU's and Coopers. Close to Saint Marks. Can't ask anything better. Oh did I mention it's 24 hrs? Well it is!

  5. I come here when I'm in a rush or really want something. Salads are expensive, as well as wraps and everything else. You'll pay more for chips, yogurt, drinks, etc. here than you will at the Duane Reade next door so… do what you gotta do. Staff works at extreme speed so be on your toes when ordering or paying as to not get the stink eye from other patrons. There's no tables here so it's just grab and go, but like I said – when you have no other choice.

  6. BAD

Classic NY vibe (sketchy in-person service)
    Could be cheaper

    GOOD

Classic NY vibe (if you're in that mood)
Their coconut pancakes are one of a kind.
Open 24 hours so good for late night face-stuffing
    They deliver.

  7. Impeccably clean and almost festive inside compared to your typical deli / bodega hybrid.  (Decorative menu board ftw) And surprisingly devoid of undergrads for a 24-hour joint smack dab in the middle of NYU territory during midterm season.  I guess they're all Seamless-ing it up.

The guys are friendly and willing to whip almost anything up for you from their extensive menu at crazy hours.  Just be certain to tell them what size dish you want vey clearly upfront.  Almost all offerings come in small and large portions, and they'll assume you want the "deluxe" (and pricier) version by default unless you very clearly tell them otherwise.

Fortunately they're generous portions- and some pretty darn decent Italian food to be had after hours.

  8. If you like supremely rude and angry staff that take too long to serve you, and then they get mad at you for them taking do long, then by all means this is the place for you.

Oh, and did I mention that everyone that works here is rude and angry.  F this place.
