I had lunch with my old man here since we had a coupon. Our coupon was two Whopper meals at a discounted rate. The person at the register exhibited an attitude that was neither too friendly nor too negative. Once we got our meals, we sat down.
We ordered our sandwiches without the mayonnaise. We added BBQ sauce for extra flavor. We didn't order cheese with them since there was an additional cost associated with that. The Whoppers came with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and ketchup on top of a hamburger patty within a sesame seed bun. It tasted fine.
The french fries that I got tasted really good. It was crispy with the right amount of salt. It was really worth dipping them in ketchup and BBQ sauce. My dad substituted the fries in favor of onion rings at no additional cost. He enjoyed them.
This location can really use a revamp. Some parts of the wall are cracked, and parts of the paint are chipped off. Clearly nothing has changed here for an extremely long time. Also, there are two restrooms, and they each have only one toilet and sink. Seriously? I've been to other locations, where they had two stalls in one restroom, and if someone only wanted to wash his or her hands, he or she wouldn't have to wait outside until someone inside came out.
Also, the ice dispenser part of the soda machine could use a little repair. Once I finished filling the cup with ice, I proceeded to grab some soda. As I was filling up, I noticed that the ice dispenser was still dispensing ice onto the landing base with nothing pressed against it. I looked closely at the lever. It looked like it wasn't in the "stand-by" position. When I pulled the lever back again, the dispensing stopped. When it came to ice dispensers on soda machines, once you pull your cup back, the dispensing would stop. Well, that didn't happen here. This was a weird waste of ice.
The size of the parking lot was reasonable with a good amount of spots. They also have free WIFI, which can be slow at times. An extra star is given in favor of the food. But overall, this old location can certainly use a revamp.
