  1. It's a Burger King!

To paraphrase a Serbian friend, "Burger King is Burger King".  The food is consistent with other BKs, the restrooms are fairly clean, there is a kid's playground and it's right by the 7 train.

They have a good selection of drinks.

In sum, Burger King is Burger King.

  2. Between Wendy's, McDonalds, White Castle, and this BK, the fast food king wins brownie points (or two stars on Yelp) for being the closest one to the subway stop.  Though I have a lot of reviews for these kinds of places, I assure you I'm no fast food junkie.  A Yelp junkie perhaps, but definitely not this Burger King.

Given that all fast food joints tend to mirror each other in price, food, and ambiance, the one telling factor about each one is the service they provide.  The folks behind the counter here are nice, but are possibly some of the slowest people on the planet.

The problem is, they're continually understaffed.  There is usually a line of folks, with only one person at the counter and one person in the back assembling all of the food (note: I did not say cook).  And the irony of it all is, the customer service here is actually good.  They're polite and even address me as "sir."

I can't really count on this place for breakfast or for late night eats – seeing as the lines can get a little nutty and the understaffed duo of folks last all hours of the day.  Food is going to be one's average BK fast food, with less attention to detail and dare I say shrunken sandwiches (whoppers / bk deluxes are the size of egg mcmuffins!).  But one thing is for sure, those fish sandwiches make the fish filet at McDonalds look ridiculous.

  3. Do not go into this Burger King. No matter what. This Burger King is like a mecca for crazy people. I don't know where they teleport from. I certainly don't see them on the streets of Sunnyside anywhere, JUST inside this Burger King!

We went there to grab a quick lunch the day that we moved into our apartment. Uh, an employee and a customer started fighting… and the employee (while texting on her phone – this takes talent) shouted, "I quit!"

Just the overall feeling of this place is dirty. Not that Burger King in general is the fanciest place… but if you are seriously craving fast food, there's McDonalds, White Castle, and Wendys all within 10 blocks on Queens Blvd. Don't go here!
