  1. Great for happy hour, lunch or dinner. It's got a very groovy atmosphere! Hanging beads, big flowers, hippie heaven. It definitely gets a little busy, but my sister had her sons 1st birthday party there and it was great!

Favorite- fish taco appetizer. I could just have these all night long. Fish is battered, crunchy cabbage and crumbed cheese. Just what a fish taco should be

  2. Food was not that great, but their drinks are pretty good! I like the ambiance and vibe of the place, it's very lively, but it doesn't match the same level as the food, unfortunately.

  3. Came last night (Friday) there was only a five minute wait, which was surprising, parking was hard because there are a lot of restaurants & bars in the area, later I found out you can park across the street in the lot, wish I would have known that. Downstairs there is a bar, and some seating, there was a band, and it was very loud. You're only allowed to sit upstairs if you're ordering an entree, which sucks, but I really wanted to have a nice quiet dinner where I can hear my company. The waitress was very nice, and we started off with some sangria, which was okay….wasn't too strong, wasn't too light. The complimentary salsa & chips were good, some chips were kind of salty. After a while we decided to order appetizers, large guacamole, mini fried chimis all chicken, for entree we order the shrimp fajita, and steak burrito bowl. A huge problem is that all the food came out at the same time! All the appetizers, and entrees, which surprised me, I did say this is what we are having for appetizer, and this is what we are having for entree. The guacamole was delicious, and so was the mini chimis, the steak burrito bowl wasn't good at all! I took one bite, and never touched it again, thankfully between the salsa, guacamole, and chimis I was full. When I asked for the steak burrito bowl to go, they handed me the plastic containers, which I refused to have to pack my own food, I'm out to dinner paying for a service, I expect for the service to include packing my leftovers. The best bus was nice enough to have the kitchen do it. Besides the mix up with the entire ordering coming out, and the really bad burrito bowl, I will be back for the appetizers, if they let me sit upstairs. They do also have outdoor seating, which is nice during those warm nights.

  4. I've been here a few times for some margaritas and lunch.   The service has always been good and the food is decent but not really outstanding.  The margaritas are delicious and pack a punch.  The prices are a touch on the expensive side for what you get.  The atmosphere is pretty laid back, there's a nice outdoor area too.  It's not a terrible place to hang out with some friends and catch up over some drinks and tacos.

  5. This is my go to spot when in need of drink after a long day after work or just a chill spot. I usually come on a weekday and the female bartender with the sleeve tattoo is awesome. She's super nice and attentive. Food here is a bit spicy, but that comes with the name. I usually stick with the wings and fries with a nice cold alcoholic beverage/beer equals awesomeness.

  6. Oh,  Burrito Bar, our decade long relationship just keeps evolving.

Now,  would I go to Burrito Bar for drinks on a Friday or Saturday night ? Mmm.. depends, but probably not,  that time for me has passed (if you attend Wagner College (or high school for that matter) your time is now.)

However,  on a Sunday would I come here for brunch?  Yes. $13.95 generally gets you a choice of french toast, omelet, salad or burger and $1 Miller Lite, Sangria, Margaritas or mimosas. French toast can be served with steak,  which is always well cooked. Nice to hang out for hours and chill. Probably one of your best bets for brunch on the island.

Monday-Thursday from 4-7 p.m. they have an economy crunch special. This means one appetizer,  2 entrees, dessert and coffee for $25. It's a pretty sweet deal. I most recently had the warm fajita salad, it was huge and completely satisfying without dressing.

The patio is really nice,  and they don't bug you about moving either. Honestly,  doesn't everything taste better outside?

  7. I've been here a few times during the summer an it is a Nice spot for drinks and to chill with some friends.

Few times I came it was always jumping with people I had to pay a small cover charge of $5 "yeah to walk into burrito bar lmao I guess the cover charge was to pay for the live DJ they had. DJ was okay had the area nice an happy an enjoyable.

It's decent bar, I enjoy their pitcher of sangria very good, not a huge fan of there frozen margaritas definitely not the best I've had. I'll stick with a beer or like I said sangria.

With warm weather they have out door area as well which is a awesome spot to just chat, drink, snack an enjoy the beautiful fresh air.

Food isn't that great, like a must have, or like omg I have to go back for a burrito.
Not at all this type of spot.

I'm a Mexican food lover so trust me when I say it's not great but it's not the worst.

I'll say a cool hangout spot to drink

I'll be back for drinks an music

  8. Good food , VERY STRONG DRINKS and great music = a great time !

It looks like a house that was turned into a restaurant, Literally!!

When you first walk through the door you can either go left to the bar which is a decent size that has a full bar and a DJ in the corner with a lot of Standing Room and a bunch of bar stools or you can head upstairs to the cute little restaurant area that's decorated very cozy and warm actually gets a little hot up there but it's all good.

I wasn't hungry so I just tasted some of my cousins burrito and enchiladas and they were pretty good, the guacamole was very good and the margarita was a little too strong kind of like three parts tequila one part juice but if you're looking to get tipsy quick and for cheap then it's perfect lol. For the first time ever we were about to ask for more juice and less tequila lmao , but we didn't,  we tried to be cool about it without making the stink face with every sip LMFAO.

After dinner we headed downstairs to the bar area where the DJ was playing everything from pop to trap to old school hip hop and reggae to dance music / techno. Luckily it was a great crowd and we actually made a few friends, I look forward to coming here again soon and having a great time once again.

    See ya here
