I meant to go to Bar Stuzzi, for which the sign is still up but apparently this temporary pop is in its place.
The staff was accommodating and when I was concerned about being cold sitting near the front door we were kindly offered a seat at one of the large beer hall tables in the rear. Since it was on the early end we had the entire space to ourselves.
The happy hour goes until 8pm, wine and beer at $5 a pop its a great deal. The salad I shared was underwhelming, but I really enjoyed the butternut squash and carrot soup with was sprinkled with candied orange.
I tried two of the dumplings, the spinach and the speck and they are just not my thing-like large matzoh balls in broth.
I like the space and the staff was accommodating. Not sure it will be around much longer but great to grab for the happy hour deal!
