"C"-Town subconsciously self-proclaimed its rating… a C, average, mediocre, and just plain basic. When I first moved to SoHa I was uber stoked to have a grocery store right on my block, but my excitement soon faded upon entering this store.
C-Town is is a super small, super packed grocery store that leaves its veggies in the boxes (until sold I assume), its fruit ( or the little they have I should say) unkept, and its meat all over the place. I literally found a pack of meat next to a box of Honey Bunches of Oats.
The aisle in this store are very close together – typical NY I guess. Besides the above things C-Town is a good place to go if you need to pickup medicine, juice, candy, or any other prepackaged item.
I will say that C-Town has great management/staff. Ever time I go here someone opens the door for me, hands me a basket, takes my basket when I'm done, and bids me good day.
If only I could judge this place on the staff alone it would receive 5 stars, but sadly the main components of a grocery store is in fact its grocery's. And C-Town leaves much to be desired.
