“Started with a pineapple mojito, ended trying to help kill the generous pitcher of Sangria (get the pitcher – better value) and man, was that good and potent (STRONG-gria!).”

“The filet mignon tacos and chorizo quesadillas are very good.”

“I had the chicken fajitas and he had the tequila lime chicken which had a huge salad on top I didn't even see where the chicken was.”

  1. Came here for dinner last night and although it was packed the waiters looked liked they had nothing to do. The bus boys were working over time while the waiters were convening in the front chatting it up. We were never checked on and took 15 minutes of OUR time to get the check.

We order guacamole for an app fish tacos and short ribs with rice and beans. Nothing was hot everything was warm. It's very disappointing because at one point this place had great potential. Smh so sad!

  2. Food was good, but a little pricey. The space is a lot smaller than you think & parking & wait are a little crazy on the weekends. The restaurant has a large bar in the front, which you can sit and order as well. However, it does give the restaurant less space. We sat in a booth, which was nice. I had the Filet Mignon soft tacos, which were different to try. A little too burnt for my liking. The guacamole was tasty, not an overbearing taste of cilantro, which I liked. The decor was a little awkward. Probably a better place to sit and order appetizers, than a full meal.

  3. Lets start by saying I only spent $13.00 and left FULL!

    Layout:
Cabo is a beautiful place. The art and design is nice. It's a pretty good lay out. When you first walk in there is a circular bar that goes all the way around. So you can get drinks from any side. The bartenders were attentive and friendly.

    The night I went:
Thursday night is ladies night ! Woohoo I got free drinks from 9-11. They have limited it to only frozen margs. Which is fine. Hey, if its free.. It's for me !

    The food:
The food was excellent. Me and my 3 friends shared chimichangas, Mexican rice, quesadillas, and beef empanadas. The bill came to $41.00 and so it was about $13.00 a person and drinks were free. Pretty cheap if you ask me !

    The service:
horrible. This deserves NO stars. He was extremely friendly at first and was throughout but he seemed like he would be attentive to us the entire time. Lets start out by we ordered a small guac to go with our chips and salsa ( which are ready and waiting when you sat which is nice ) we gossiped and ate the chips and drank our drinks and didn't realize until the food was brought out that we never got the guac, but also he never came to check on us which would has reminded us of the guac. Anyway the food came and I told the bus boy we ordered it and to forget it. The waiter then comes over and apologies and offered it to us for free but our food had already arrived. We were disappointed and declined his offer. After we ate he only came over maybe 1 time. The bus boys were slow and our table had our dirty dishes on it the entire time. We had to stop different waiters just to get water. Sad, because the food was good.

The crowd was MUCH older than me. At one point there was 30 men just standing around the dance floor. Little creepy  the crowd seemed more women then men in the beginning cause of ladies night. Then after it was way more older men. I like it for the food, not so much the nightlife.

  4. Came here on a Friday night for a birthday dinner, it was the night before a major snowstorm, and actually started Friday night, so it was pretty much empty when we arrived at 9pm. There was several tables eating, bar was pretty much empty, just us waiting for other guest to arrive. They do offer free valet, which was great, the parking lot is very small, and shared with other businesses. The place isn't so easy to get too, at least not for me coming from Brooklyn. It's basically at the very tip of Staten Island.

Once all the guest arrived (16) we were seated right away. We ordered some appetizer platters, which came with wings, tacos, chimis, and we ordered guacamole separate, all was very good! For entree since I was drinking & didn't have much of a appetite I ordered the mini chimis (all chicken) and they were delicious, actually tasted just like burrito bar in Brooklyn! Lol

Service was good, waiter was very attentive when it came to drinks, food took a little longer than expected to come out, but the drinks kept flowing, and the music was getting better. A fb came around 11, tables were moved, and people were dancing, it wasn't packed like I mentioned, but we had enough people in our group to have a wonderful time, which we did.

Can't wait to return back with my appetite, the menu items sound really good.

  5. Definitely a must go to for the tapas menu and drink menu!!

It looks very very very nice. Nice place for a date. Nice place to have lunch.

The tapas menu is very well priced. $6.95 for many options. The drinks menu is very well priced too. I ordered the Cancun colada which was very good. The fact that it's frozen is lovely too because you keep sipping and it takes a while for it to go down.

The complementary chips and salsa were addicting. The muchos nachos were super delicious! The chicken quesadillas were decent but the sour cream. Their sour cream has to be home made or at least it tastes like it. It was really that good.

Have to come back with my family.

  6. I came here with my co-worker for some dinner. The place just open so the restaurant was empty. My friend and I drink sangrias and they were really good. She order a taco salad and it was big so she had to take it home. I order a combo meal 1 veggie taco, 1 veggie enchilada with rice and refried beans. It was good and the plate was big. The overall experience was great. It would like to go back on a Saturday night since I heard it turns into a nightclub.

  7. Only reason I give it an extra star is because I loved the list of margarita & mojitos they offer. SWEET & STRONG!

I came here for CiNCO DE MAYO & the place was packed out, it was too cold outside to hang out in the tent so everyone was inside. The lover and I entered, it was crowded and we thought we wait forever on the waiting list but it actually wasn't that bad, which is good for me! The hostess was kind of rude though, she was either on her phone or in her pocketbook half the time when people were trying to put there names down which I didn't like. Its all about CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

The place is nice, you walk in and the bar is right in the center and theres like a mini glass waterfall coming down in the middle of the bar, looks better at night cause it kind of lights up. The dining area is pretty big, there booths on one side and the rest are tables. They have a live DJ and the music was so good.

The waitress was really good, we ordered guacamole which was good and then had some nachos and salsa. I had the frozen miami vice margarita which was strawberry pina colada mix with pineapple rum SO DAMN GOOD! & the bf had coronas in celebration for MEXICO. I had the chicken fajitas and he had the tequila lime chicken which had a huge salad on top I didn't even see where the chicken was. But sure didn't stop the BF from eating every leaf and strip! The check wasn't that bad neither. Even though I think for Mexican food the prices shouldn't be the prices they had.

Later on during the night, music got louder, drinks were flowing, disco lights came on and there was an awesome guest who was singing out loud all the great songs which was great. Honestly the customers made this place! Everyone was dancing in there chairs and singing out loud and drinking those margaritas! I enjoyed every second of that.

Its a much older crowd though. More like a divorcee late 30's and older crowd which nothing wrong with that cause they need there fun too. Dressed up to a T and the men also. I even seen Carla from MOBWIVES here which was cool.

They have karaoke night on Wednesday and ladies night on Thursdays which ladies drink for free from 9-11pm. HOLLER! Margarita overload! Thats what I will come back for.
