  1. Love it. Food is excellent. The seating (located upstairs) is quite spacious. The whole place is very clean. The drinks are overpriced, but that didn't matter so much. Just hit up Duane Reade or Walgreens before coming here.

  2. The cashier (Asian middle aged man, seems like the owner) is such a fucking asshole. Just generally has a shitty attitude – I asked him nicely to break a 20, and he's just like "no" and looks back down at his phone. When I ask why, he says, "why? Because I don't have $10 bills" and gives me this retarded face. Fuck you dude. Don't buy anything here because assholes shouldn't be supported.

  3. I came in here on my last day in NYC to grab an authentic NY bagel. I didn't have time to go to a bagel shop so I figured that this would be the next best thing. Luckily, they serve H&H bagels which I have seen around town so I would hope they are authentic. I asked for an everything bagel toasted with lox spread and it was made fast and on the spot. Just like a NY bagel is was crunchy on the outside and nice and pillowy on the inside with just the right amount of chew! The price was super reasonable too! Another big plus is that the pick up spot to my NY-DC bus (Washington Deluxe) is right around the corner, how convenient! 🙂

  4. This place replaced the previous deli- Alpine.

What a pleasant surprise. It has become the go to place for most people in my office. Clean space with a LOT of variety. Tossed salads, Noodle soups to order (Like udon, etc) deli sandwiches and a really great hot/cold bar. The hot/cold bar is also always changing. They really try to give you a nice variety everyday.

They only have it about twice a week, but get the Kale and Beet salad at the salad bar. I didn't even like kale before I started eating this salad. Can't get enough of it now.

  5. This is like a vegetarian's dream. Hot and cold salad bar – really good – really fresh. I got tofu with housemade sauce, cooked broccoli, delicious rice pilaf and cous cous with mixed veggies. Everything was delicious. It was $7.99/lb which beats a lot of places in Midtown.

  6. decent place to grab a quick bite. good buffet selection and the food tasted pretty fresh overall, except for eggrolls that seemed like they had been sitting around a while.

  7. Very rude owner
Although several people formed a line at the counter, she so willingly accepted the money from a guy who was just picking up a gum. How dare you!
Then she took her time to take the coins off the counter.. then GUESS WHAT! SHE STARTED COUNTING SINGLES OUT OF THE CASHIER!!!
    REALLY?!!??
Don't you see all the polite people waiting in line and wasting their life due to your stupidity?

Even worse, the guy (her husbund/biz partner?) was standing right by her and he said nothing to the customers – way to do business

never coming back again. There are so much similar delis around this area. I doubt how Del Sol will survive with owners like this…

  8. This has become even more of a rip off. A small bit of salad, 2 pieces of sesame chicken, and a scoop of rice was almost $10 bucks. The food isn't even of good quality. The pieces of salad are obscenely large, probably to make the final weight heavier. The sesame chicken was so overly sweet. I'm not surprised people have found bugs in their food. So gross.
And they couldn't even give me a knife.

    NEVER AGAIN
