  1. Absolutely a dream the first time I went in this convenient theater district location.; every time since then though, this particular location has gone down hill… but, the city is practically littered with them so stroll in and get a quesadilla or something. I dnno, I'm let down often now that they exploded across the city.

  2. This place was fantastic although a bit expensive. Two sandwiches and one bottle of water cost $18 but it was worth it. My daughter got a turkey and avocado on pita and I enjoyed the delicious eggplant and avocado sandwich. Delicious.

  3. This location is hidden down the steps, next door to some fitness center.  Its like a cafeteria where you order at the food station, and then bring it to the cashier to ring up.

We arrived at 10:00 am, and they were wrapping up the breakfast shift.  I got the 2 eggs on a roll, and a coffee.  There's plenty of coffee to pick from, and its self serve.  They also have an Espresso counter if you want something stronger and fancier.

They have wraps, sandwiches, salads, and platters, which I am sure is great for a quick meal.

There's a small indoor seating and decent outdoor seating, which is probably nice on a sunny day.

  4. I find Cafe Metro to be a mockery of lunch fare. Nothing is particular good here, yet all over priced. Everything has a bland flavor to it, and I have felt unsatisfied after every meal I've had here. DON'T order the pizza! I had specifically ordered the margerhita, expecting it to be different from the cheese pizza option. But once I got it, it was just…the cheese pizza. What a mockery. I asked for a refund (which they gave me a hard time about) and I haven't looked back. There are plenty of other places to eat for lunch where you won't feel like you are being robbed in exchange for mediocre food.

  5. My friends and I dropped by this place a few weeks ago to grab a quick lunch before catching our Broadway Show. It was pretty average. My friends had a couple slices of different pizzas from here while I opted for the fresh made Chicken Caesar Salad. The salad portion was pretty huge with loads of chicken that kept me full for hours. I guess if you're in a rush and want a quick bite you can drop by this place if it's along the way.

  6. I only get their hot food-platters. The salmon, chicken and others have been on point. The veggies are pretty nice, too.

They're pricey, but they're underground at Rockefeller Center, and also convenient if you work in the area and need hot food fast.

Despite long lines, the employees are very efficient. They'll get you in and out. Customer service is fine; they often don't have time for chitchat during a lunch rush.

The place is clean and they have tons of outdoor seating in the warmer months.

  7. Grabbed a sandwich on the way into work–the sandwich was terribly try and uninspiring.

    Never again.

  8. The quinoa bowls are so good! I have tried both The Tango and King Creole and loved them both. If you like it a little spicy, then you'll love King Creole, otherwise try The Tango. For $9.99, the food is hot, the portion is big and there is a lot of meat! What's more: fast service and friendly staff, I can eat my work lunch here all week!
