The make-your-own salad is very good, though Memo is not friendly unless you're an attractive female in which case he is pathetically friendly. The rest of the salad guys are great despite being treated rely sometimes by arrogant, egocentric customers. Gracie at the front register is a doll.
I love Cafe Metro salads. It's a great convenient place to grab a quick salad that's actually reasonable. The small salad is $8.99 and the large is $9.99. Only difference between the two is really just some more lettuce. With each size for that price you get 1 protein, 2 premium toppings and 6 regular toppings. The grilled chicken happens to be pretty good. My favorite part about the salads I make at Metro is the honey balsamic dressing. Of course dressing usually makes a salad and they have excellent options. Definitely stop by Metro if you're looking to grab a tasty & reasonable chopped salad.
If you're in a rush, this is a good place to stop by. Lots of sandwiches on hand and ready to go. They also serve soup and pasta as well.
We stopped here kind of out of desperation because it didn't seem like anything else was open. We were hungry and needed something to put in our bellies fast.
The service was okay. Most of the guys were rude except for the lady who rang us out at the end.
I'd avoid eating here unless you absolutely need something quick.
Every breakfast place along this area has a line except for this. The place was well lighted ,clean. Breakfast was cook to order. Tasted ok.I like the fact that you can get your food and go without waiting more than 8 minutes or so.
Grab and go is the name of the game or you can always dine in as well.
They have a lunch special where you can get a salad for around 6 bucks. The salad is really good and their Cesar dressing is outstanding.
The Bad
– Long line at their salad bar and there's hardly any room to stay on line
– Spicy shrimp at the salad bar was not spicy at all…it should just be called cold shrimp
The Good
– Salad was pretty cheap in comparison to other cafes like Dishes
– Unlimited toppings
The Bottomline- Like any other cafe. Check it out if you are nearby. Not as expensive as other places especially for their unlimited toppings for their tossed salads. They have lunch specials as well which is pretty worth it.
I haven't had a bad experience here.
Their salads are way better than the Just Salad a block away.
I enjoyed their sausage, egg, and cheese on a whole grain bagel, pricing around $5, but my friend got a turkey wrap and a lemonade totaling to about $15, holy cow! It was good, but not $15 good.
