Caliente Cab Co
“I'll def be back this summer – the large patio area they had outside looks like it will be fun – and inside was pretty cute too.”
“The margarita's hit the spot, the best one to me was the Miami Vice, lol it distracted me from it's alcohol content!”
“For $14 you get a tall margarita glass and they have different flavors such as mango, passion fruit coconut, regular, guava etc. A very chill spot to enjoy some mexican drinks and fare.”

had an absolutely enormous margarita which was a good start to the night. the shrimp tacos were solid, though wouldve liked them to have had a little more fish. glad i found this place so close by.
I used to come here all the time! They have a great night life and DJ. Their drinks are very strong, but you pay a lot of money them, so it's worth it. I came here last tuesday and got a burrito and ate outside. The burrito was just alright…nothing to write home about. As I recall, most of the food was just okay. But I would definitely come back here at night for music and drinks.
I love this place, only because I know what to expect each time coming here. Subpar service, unlimited chips and salsa and some really awesome (slightly expensive) frozen margaritas!!!! This isn't gourmet Mexican food by any means, but at the end of a long day it's perfect!!!!
Came in here with a friend after a night at the movies. We were seated right away, but it took a little time for our waiter to come by. We ordered our drinks, guacamole, and meals. I had the enchiladas verdes and my friend got the taco salad. The guacamole was very good, but a huge portion for us. We ordered guac for 2 and it could've fed 4. My enchilades though were just Ok. The rice and beans weren't very good and the enchiladas were more like tortillas wrapped around large pieces of chicken. Definitely not worth the price.
Atmosphere was pretty good. We sat outside, as it was a beautiful night. The inside is small and dark, but i'm sure makes for a decent ambiance. Service wasn't great. Our waiter was pretty unfriendly and didn't come by a lot. Our water was also never refilled.
Overall, not worth it. There are a lot of really great and inexpensive Mexican restaurants around the city, so i'll be going to one of those.
Landed in this establishment after our first option was way too packed. It was a fun looking Mexican eatery, and we were drawn in by the cheap drinks.
The mini margarita was only $5 and it was strong!
I ordered the mini tacos. It was a good portion of food, with great spicy and savory flavor. The hot sauce they provide adds an additional kick.
While it was good, it wasn't great. I would return again for drinks, but maybe skip the food.
BUMP CINCO DE MAYO – It's all about the SEIS!!! I came here for a Happy Hour the day after Cinco de Mayo to celebrate my Mexican Heritage! I don't have the Birth Certificate but I had the drinks and Guacamole to prove it!!! The margaritas came with rocks or frozen and were $7 each… Happy Hour was until 8 pm which included a pretty good array of drinks and appetizers for $7/each… The place was super crowded which partly could've been from the rain outside and noisy but when you drinking you tend to speak up! The margarita's hit the spot, the best one to me was the Miami Vice, lol it distracted me from it's alcohol content! The guacamole was addictive and sooo delicious – it makes you sad when it's all done, almost like you have a dipping problem… And we were even adventurous and went off happy hour menu and ordered 10 wings – which I will not do ever again. They weren't nasty but $20 for 10 wings – the Brooklyn in me cried just a little bit…
The service wasn't the best but it was crowded so whatever… big set back is that in that big place there's only two small bathrooms that's for employees and patrons!!!! So it would probably be best if you go jump on that bathroom line before the urge gets too intense, at least then you'll have the will for the tight wait against wall – and you'll probably make a friend or two!
My friends and I came from happy hour and had a good time. There is a selection of happy hour drinks for $5. Happy hour is until 7. We ordered guac and wings. They were all pretty good and came out quickly. The waiter was pretty attentive and we got all our drinks in. Can't comment much on the real food as we didn't have any. The $5 drinks did their job.
Went last week and was really taken aback by their lack of booze. Every time I ordered a drink I was met with "we don't have anymore ___________." So the manager comes over to explain that something was going on with their booze distributor and they were running out of everything. Okay. If I owned a restaurant that was half bar, and I was running out of booze on a Friday night, I would take my credit card to the nearest liquor store and buy a bunch of staples to help get me through. Besides, "managing" kind of entails doing what you need to do to make sure the place is stocked and running smoothly, so I wonder what's going on there. She wasn't even apologetic, didn't take an appetizer off, nothing. I suppose it's a chain so maybe she doesn't have a lot in the way of power. In any case, I'm turned off by this place now.
We did order some mix of appetizers and I thought it was greasy/fatty but very tasty.
