  1. Every time I work in this area, I wind up here. There are a ton of places to eat in the area, but I like it here. Perhaps it's the blaring Spanish music, I can just sit, zone out and surf my phone!
The food here is not bad, not the greatest but still good. I tend to get a plate off the steam table, the rice is delicious so I avoid it at all costs otherwise I would be eating two plates of rice!!!
Service is fine, it can be slow, but they have always been very nice.
No complaints here, will definitely return.

  2. Came here for lunch. During this time they were playing loud bachata music so you have to talk loud if you want to have a conversation. They have a few lunch specials which are inexpensive. Their tables are interesting. They used old coconut shells in a clear molding that had a real Caribbean character. Wait staff was friendly but they didn't pay to much attention to us after we were seated. The wait for food was fairly long probably 20 minutes. Portion size was large. Especially the rice. I ordered their fish lunch special which was fried and came with 3 pieces of plantains and your choice of white or yellow rice with beans on the side. Price was 7.95 at the time of this writing. It would have been nice if they had a small about of vegetables like a small salad or sauteed vegetables on the plate. The fish was cooked well crispy outside and moist and tender inside. Rice was fine. Plantains were a little hard to my looking for sweet plantains. I was definitely full after lunch. There are a lot of places to eat around here but I don't really see this place really standing out.

  3. Well this place seems to serve good margarita (after seeing how many margaritas my friends ordered), but in terms of food this place is pretty weak.  Since this is a spanish restaurant they don't have guacamole for example.  When we went there as a big group, we really couldn't find any adequate appetizer to share from the menu.

It is not an expensive place, and service was adequate, but you may not find what you want to eat from the menu.
