This chain has received a lot of publicity, from tv and elsewhere. Their goods have very bright colors that easily attract attention, but are very expensive. I did not find their quality to justify their prices. The selection was limited but the staff was very nice.
The bakery on the next block, Bovella's, is fairly expensive, but a bargain by comparison.
I came here on a Sunday afternoon so most of the offerings were already gone, which actually is a good sign. It shows that they don't overstock.
There were just two employees here, both young girls. They were pretty busy with just 1-2 customers. I felt sort of bad because one customer was just asking for way too much.
We opted for trying a few different things. I got the small cannoli, which was really good. The cream puff was also good. Those were the two I remembered most out of the 4 we got. I mean most of it was good. But nothing out of this world. Not sure I'd be rushing to return.
I've heard a lot of mixed reviews so I walked in with no expectation. The bakery was clean and it was nice that they had a few places to sit and eat. I got their caramel cupcake ($3 each) and liked the caramel icing but I personally prefer a less dense cupcake/cake. Not sure if it was worth the cost but it was still good enough that I ate all of it. Would I come back and try something different if I were in the area? Maybe.
