  1. They have a lot of taps and a fun environment to drink your beer in.  My BIL and I had a great time prepping for our Broadway Show with our wives here.  Really helped numb the pain properly.

The host was a nice guy and personally welcomed us in.

  2. Twenty taps – Blue Moon, Coors Light, Carlsberg, Heineken, Sam Adams regular and seasonal, Stella, Newcastle, Guinness, Captain Lawrence IPA (nice), Bronx Ale Strongbow cider, and a few more.  I will post a pix.

Long bar; several large flat screens; bar back looks substantial.  Bartenders were good.

I had a chicken tikka masala at lunch which came out quickly and was tasty.

Place opened last week. I have high hopes.  First impression was positive.

  3. Seemed like a nice place but was so crowded that we couldn't get to the bar and left.  Will try it again another time though.

  4. Food and drinks:

The food was subpar, but $4 Coors Light draft was not bad. I ordered a 10 piece buffalo wings and a few beers. Both came out very quickly, which was great, but the wings weren't so great. They were breaded and then covered in the buffalo sauce (I was expecting naked with sauce but I should have asked), and they were quite soggy, which I don't like. The beers were reasonably priced though, and their happy hour shots, so I'd definitely come here for their happy hour drink specials (till 7pm) rather than the food – at least the bar food. They had some other interesting things on the menu though – like chicken tikka masala under traditional pub fares. Strange but makes me want to try it.

    Service: C+

The guy at the door who seated us was super friendly and polite, although it seemed a little disorganized when we got to the table and the wait staff was still trying to clean/set up the table. We had to wait a few moments to actually sit – it wasn't a big deal at all but it seemed that they could have sat us elsewhere that was already ready.

We sat down 4 minutes before happy hour ended, and they still let us order our first round of drinks on the happy hour deal, which was awesome. Honestly, they weren't very attentive to our table, but when we did get their attention for anything we needed, we got whatever we asked for quickly, whether it be drinks, food, or our check. There's pros and cons – you might like this if you prefer more privacy (don't want the wait staff to be constantly checking up on you) and don't mind waving them down, or you might hate this (like the wait staff to be very involved in your experience).

Mature, modern with a slightly rustic feel. Wasn't crowded on a Wednesday night at all. Loved that! We actually went to another bar around the block before that and it was so packed, we just left. Here, we were able to get a table and order a couple of appetizers, which we got super quickly, along with our drinks. Ultimately, it was a nice and casual after-work bite/drinks spot, nothing too fancy, but had that more mature vibe.

  5. This is a new spot in the neighborhood of my job. I've not come here for Happy Hour so far, but it's really good for lunch. Not super cheap, but that's ok because the food is generous and delicious. It's got a great pub feel and the menu reflects that. I recommend the Fish and Chips and Chicken Tikka Masala.

  6. There are pubs, then there are pubs! Welcome to a great spot in midtown that is easy to get to and has great food! Comfy elegance with lots of drink choices!! Nice second floor with bar and seating area with good views! Servers are awesome! Everything is good, so come hungry!

  7. I had low expectations for a pub near Times Square (especially since I'm not a huge pub gal) but this one was rather nice and elegant. I came around the holidays so it was pretty with cozy with Christmas decorations (very tasteful). It's a pub and they put sports on but it's upscale and the service was good. The wine is even quite decent as far as pubs go. All in all, I'd return if I were in the area!
