I'm very surprised Carte Blanche doesn't have more reviews. I have had some good Americanos here in the past while waiting for events to start at Tanuki Tavern next door. Cute place!
Courtesy of a Gilt City voucher I purchased, my sis and I went to Carte Blanche for some oysters and champagne (2 of her fave things) on her birthday. This cafe is located on the bottom floor of the Hotel Gansevoort and we sat outside so were able to take in the scene and met some amusing passersby. As the night was somewhat chilly, we were the only patrons seated outside, but the champagne and oysters were pretty good and service was alright. Overall it was a nice experience but probably one better had in the summertime.
