Ok this is a Filipino Restaurant that serves delicious Filipino cuisine. Obviously if youre filipino you would know that most of the dishes are fried so expect it to be oily. And filipinos love to put salt for flavoring so expect it to be salty. Some people have sensitive palate so they think its too salty or oily! Actually thats what it should taste like.
This place has one of the most friendliest staff! They will go out of their way to make their customers satisfied an happy w their experience. Their sinigang dish is delicious as well as their longanisa! Bbq is always a hit as well as their lumpia. Turon (fried plantains) always a hit. I would go back here again if given a chance.
Wow, this place has a huge selection. This is a Filipino turo-turo, where you just point at what you want from the steam table at the counter. For only $4.95, you can choose two dishes with rice. I chose the chicken adobo and the lumpia. I also got a fried banana on the side. There are more than 30 items to choose from.
Unfortunately, that also seems to have affected the quality. The food was not all fresh and some of it is probably a day old. The chicken adobo was a little too salty, and the lumpia and fried banana were cold. Still, it is hard to argue with the price. I didn't get any stomach aches, so I would be willing to eat here again. =)
The flavors are good, but I don't think I should continue to eat here. It feels like I'm tempting fate.
I don't know if I'm just taking late lunches or what, but the food is almost always lukewarm. The steam table just isn't hot enough and I think they microwave everything anyways.
If I received hot meals, I'd give 3-4 stars. Instead, I don't think I'll return. Don't want to get knocked out with food poisoning.
