Yelpy insight- this place is NOT great for vegetarians. This new spot opened up recently and we decided to give it a try in hopes of finally finding a good Mexican restaurant in the city. Nope. This place just didn't do it for me, food-wise.
We started off with Tortilla chips and pico, along with two sauces the waitress recommended, borracha and Delgado. The tortilla chips and pico were fresh and great. The borracha was also good. Delgado was terrible.
Next we got the queso fundido without chorizo which hardened almost immediately after the waitress brought it out, making it too rubbery and chewy. Was not too impressed.
We then decided to try the flavorless wild mushroom quesadilla- the cheese in it was still too rubbery and there was no real flavor in the quesadilla :/
The dessert saved the meal. The churros with icecream and chocolate sauce was so yummy:) definitely get this!
Drinks and ambience were great though. I would definitely come back here for drinks and some pico and chips! I drank the "Mexican firing squad" drink! Definitely would recommend to someone who likes a spicy drink!
Like a Mexican gastropub, Casa Neta makes tequila time, an experience to savor with friends in a loungey/ club like setting. There is good seating areas here particularly for groups with couches or club chairs.

The food was delish. Chips are fried on premises. The spicy borracha salsa rocked my palate. The salad was super vibrant and the tacos with avocado tomatillo salsa w/ crema were also super duper and even though the food was tapas style, I was full. Service was extra nice too!
