Little bit of a crowded feeling in this place. I decided on a breakfast skillet. The Irish skillet sounded good and was. 2 eggs, hash, and cheesy potatoes. The coffee was really good too. All in all it was a really good spot for breakfast. Fast service and fairly cheap too. Cash only.
I am sad to say that after more than two years of regular patronage of Central Plaza, I will take my business elsewhere. We went for brunch on a Sunday and, as usual, the diner was very busy. After waiting 15+ minutes for a table, one finally opened up. However, while waiting for the employees to clear off the remnants of the previous party, two men just sat down at the table. When I told them that we were waiting for that table, and ahead of them, they refused to get up. Several minutes of arguing ensued. At no point did any employee step in to take charge. In fact, one of the employees (that we know well) just stood by there and looked on without saying anything. We eventually got the guys to move and when our waiter came to take our order, he just had an "aw shucks" attitude about the whole thing. This is the same waiter who we have dealt with countless times and has gotten a fair deal of our orders wrong. As mentioned in my earlier review, the food here is good and inexpensive. The staff is friendly. But if they are unwilling to step in to take charge of a situation such as this, particularly for people that frequent their diner consistently, I will no longer dine here.
