Not bad, we ordered take out and 3/3 of us found the food to be tasteful, but dry. I saved half of my sandwich for the next day and it tastes much better since it got a little soggy so it was less dry. When we ordered we asked if they delivered and they said since they were not that busy they could so I guess it's hit or miss on delivery.
We tasted all their empanadas, the bread has good texture, I feel like it's missing a dipping sauce, but they were ok. I found the guava and cheese empanada to be really delicious cause it's all puréed together. My husband got the lechon with congri and I thought that was pretty dry too. The portions are also on the smaller side.
This place opened up a few months near my place at work.
It's on Michigan ave. where traffic is near homes and machine shops. I would probably have driven past this place as its also next to an assuming pizza place.
I like this place as its somewhat 'exotic' cuisine in the area. I've had the pork chop and lechon sandy.
The place is kinda small but the TV keeps me entertained and I don't have to converse with my co-workers.
Free can soda on lunch orders. Parking might be an issue. I usually park around the corner in front of someone's home. Credit card accept over $10 i think.
The decor is cool. It's like I'm at my friend's uncle's house. There's drums, cigar boxes and dominoes everywhere. Missing the mini mountain of white stuff 😉
