“everyone always raves about the usual pizza places (i.e. john's, difara, lombardi's, etc.) but i think steve's is the best.”

“It's an after the bar spot for a burger, or a quick bite while sight seeing, etc.

Burrito was AWESOME actually.”

  1. Huge fan of their cheese steaks
I am almost inclined to say that I like their cheese steak more then Carl's.
The cheese steak has a very good amount of steak to bread ratio, and is a lot less greasy then Carl's.
The meat was very tender and moist and the bread was the right amount of soft to soak up all the meaty goodness.

  2. I order from here a lot for my night cravings. Good milkshakes, brownies, mozzarella sticks… Quesadillas and chicken fingers have been really good sometimes and other times just ok. Their pizza is ok for late night pizza, kind of like dominos.

  3. I was in FIDI this morning and I had a craving for a Charly's breakfast sandwich.  Just as good as the last time.  Went with a sausage egg and cheese on a roll.  The sausage patty was well seasoned, cooked nicely and yummy.  Egg scrambled well and the cheese was fine.  All put together on a roll which was able to hold all ingredients without falling out.  For under $5 you can't beat it. It's a hole in the wall kinda place but worth a visit.

  4. Pretty good! I wasn't sure about this place, but decided to live life on the edge and give it a try. My husband had the Philly Cheesesteak and I had the cheeseburger with fries. Healthy, I know! But while on vacay…. 😉 The Philly was good- the perfect balance of meat, cheese, and bread; not soggy or sloppy like some poorly made cheesesteaks. My burger was well cooked, juicy and really tasty. The fries were ok, kinda reminded me of Mcdonalds fries- thin and salty, but good if you like that. Can't really go wrong with fries, I don't think. I also like that this place had a really good variety of cuisine, from quesadillas to burgers to salads. You have a good chance of finding something to please everyone's tastes in one spot. Service was prompt, especially considering it was peak lunch hour in the Financial District. Overall, a good experience 🙂

  5. Got a Philly cheesesteak here. Overall the taste was good. It's a decent choice for people working in the area.

Late Night Drunken Pizza. I had a caprese slice. It had pizza sauce plus mozzarella, tomato, and basil. It was crunchy, carb-y, and overall good for absorbing the alcohol. Would I go here sober? Probably not. So I will give this safe, middle of the road review for now.

  7. THESE CHEESE STEAKS ARE OFF THE HOOK.

At first, I thought these strong feelings were an effect of my inebriation. However, after heating one the next morning for a quick pick-me-up, it was JUST AS DELICIOUS. Like how? I literally put it in the fridge and then microwaved each half for 30s, and it was still oozing nomations.

I'm coming back. This place is awesome.

  8. This grab and go spot makes quick snacks and coffee a breeze.
The architecture of this place allows for easy enter and exit.
I had a steak quesadilla last summer which I remember being edible.

The coffee is hot and fast. Bonus points because they allowed me to make a $2 purchase on my card since I forgot to stop at the atm!
