  1. Probably the best bubble tea deal you can get in Flushing, they have a lot of BOGO offers and buy 2 for $3 or 2 for $4. Student discounts are valid as long as it's not a sale item. The hot pudding milk tea is pretty good, could use some more pudding though. Like many other places you can choose your level of sugar and ice.

No seating, just grab and go. Not the best bubble tea but not the worst. Final rating? 3.5 stars

  2. I love this bubble tea place because it seems to be one of the few that actually has Lychee Milk Tea! The large is only $3.76 (tax included) A lot of different variety of drinks to choose from as well.

  3. my boyfriend and i have been to chatime before, but not at this location so we didn't think it'd be too different. their specials are confusing – apparently it's only at certain hours or something, which is a bit strange to me because why put up a sign that you're having a special when it's already over? anyway, my boyfriend wanted a hazelnut bubble tea and the woman didn't understand what he wanted. we tried to point out where "hazelnut" was on the menu or if she could at least get someone who spoke/understood english to take his order, but i guess that wasn't an option. HUGE turn-off. if you're going to work here, at least understand which flavors you have/the customer's order in general so that you don't lose out on a sale.

  4. So many flavors available. I think they actually have the most extensive menu (next to Kung Fu tea). This is my go to place for cheap fruity green tea. They have ongoing deals all the time like BOGO hot milk tea series or buy 2 for $4.50 green tea specials.

  5. This is my go-to bubble tea place in flushing, mainly because the Buy one, get one deal is really too good! This deal applies to many flavors. The large rose-milk tea was awesome, not too sweet, and the amount of pudding given was very generous, all for about $2.00 (of course, this was part of the BOGO deal too, so I got 2 bubble teas for about $4). Like most places in Flushing, it is cash-only. The place itself is kind of dirty and unsightly, but most people just buy their bubble tea to go.

  6. I love this place… The drinks are well priced and their boba is perfect – just the right consistency. I like the Taro and Matcha Red Bean Green Tea, as well as the Pomegranate Green Tea and Strawberry Slushee.

Only thing I don't like much is that the menu is on a changing screen and doesn't give a great snap shot of what they have.

Also, today I ordered a Match Red Bean Green Tea and they forgot to add the red bean. =( But that's the only they have messed up the order and I've been going for years.

  7. Do people ever use their brains to fully think things through when they are trying to make a simple beverage ? I'm just curious….

I prefer the chat time location in Chinatown then this one…seems so disorganized …

bubbles at 9:00 am on a Friday morning!

attitudes were poor and space was not clean…the drinks were alright…

when you ask for a more specific drink the staff finds your request annoying and inconvenient…there's so many bubble tea shops in flushing…if you cant do simple things i ask for then i take my business elsewhere….  Service is not good; poor attitude..and there's no system on where to order…so basically i waited for 30 mins while everyone was just pushing and shoving to order their drinks…a little regardless…

  8. I realize it is an cultural and age thing, but I just don't get Bubble Tea and the other Tapioca Bead drinks that seem to be every 20 feet along Main Street in Flushing.  The line is long with what seem to be primarily high school age kids, but there are certainly some older folks waiting their turn or sucking hard on the large bore straws that allow the "bubbles" to be drawn into the mouth (Isn't that a choking hazard?).

My friends wanted to try them, so who was I to demur?  I found myself drinking an overly sweet "Green Tea" concoction, with Purple Tapiocas and Red Beans occupying the bottom third of the thin plastic container. I wondered what was in the bubbles, as they had a rather sickly spongy/gooey consistency followed by a weird chew and swallow.  Some lab work should be done, as I doubt its ingredients have ever been evaluated.

So, we took our drinks around the corner to a good Taiwanese bakery, ordered a few small cakes, and sat at their window bar to enjoy the street life.

I don't see this product ever making my short list of favorite drinks.
