Just found out that there was a Checkers in this part of Brooklyn. i came here a few times and everytime I was here, it was pouring rain. It's a really ghetto checkers. It's hood inside and out. Every time I'm here, there's always a few thug lookin dudes straight chillin inside and out. They'll walk in and out of the joint lookin high as a kite. Anyway, it's a good fast food joint if you're tired of McDonald's, Burger King, and Wendy's. I just wish they can open up some Sonics in NYC already.
The seasoned fries totally rock, and make a tasty munch-out for after downing many PBR's and Jack Daniels shots across the way at Duff's while rocking out to non-stop heavy metal tunes.
The place itself late at night seems to draw some thuggish individuals and weirdos as can be expected in this area. The burgers are pretty much what you would expect from a fast food joint and not all that great. The one large flat screen they have here wasn't working. Looks kind of dirty but they do have an A on the window. Typical fast food high caloric menu. Hey, it's a Checkers what do you expect?
Still, it's all about those addicting seasoned fries!
The fact that I have a receipt from here proves I stopped in for a milkshake at 3:42 am. The fact that I completely blocked out this experience tells me that it was, perhaps, not the best milkshake I've ever encountered. The fact that I'm here to write this review tells me that, although the place (now that I remember going) *felt* a little sketch, was, well, survivable. I also remember thinking "No way am I getting anything cooked from here."
P.S. I was 100 percent sober when I went here.
