I stopped here on the way home from the beach on Memorial Day Weekend for a casual dinner, and the experience was OK. I ordered the 1/3 lb cheeseburger with Cheddar/Jack cheese, garlic, and bbq sauce, and while it wasn't the best burger I have ever had, it certainly wasn't the worst.
But to be honest, I think part of the allure of Cheeburger Cheeburge is the overall experience. From the 50's diner setting to the super awesome shakes to the old-school Trivial Pursuit cards on each table to the cheesy (pun intended) wait staff that comes around and takes a picture of each person who consumes a 1 pound burger (while holding a giant plush burger) to be added to the picture wall, you can't help but be happy when you're at this establishment.
My recommendation is to go to Cheeburger Cheeburger for a non-calorie conscious good time without being concerned that you're having a gourmet first class meal.
