I was passing this place on my way home, decided to try a new place to get food. I was really in the mood for some perogies so i stopped in and ordered some potato and cheese and got them to go. They were awesome. Nice and soft and the the taste was good. If i was passing by or lived a bit closer i would come for some homemade Polish food. Nothing fancy at all but nice people and good food.
Found this place by accident. I don't know of many places that serve real traditional Polish food. I had a kielbasa sandwich. My sister some kind of combo plate. Everything seemed authentic, and tasted great. I feel like something is calling me back there. I guess I just like Polish food. Definitely check it out if you're in the area. It's a great option for take out or counter dine in counter service.
Chefski's isn't really the kind of restaurant one goes to for a sit-down meal. It's very popular for takeout. Unfortunately for me, on my first trip there, I didn't think to order ahead and instead waited inside for my food, resulting in me smelling like Polish food for the rest of my work day. Otherwise, the food is delicious, very hearty, and classic.
