  1. Solid NY bagel spot with large fluffy bagels abundant with toppings. I had the vegan scallion tofu cream cheese which was very well done. The prices are a bit out of touch with reality (I paid 4.40 for a bagel with cream cheese. Seriously, come on. It's bread.)
Their bagels are good, but I wouldn't necessarily say it's good enough to justify that price.

Either way, if you're starvin' or just ballin' and want a warm, perfectly seasoned bagel this place hits the spot almost as hard as it hits your wallet.

  2. Love their bagels and the proximity to my house. This place gets 5 stars for letting their customers taste the cream cheese unlike a few other places I have been to. The reason I have bummed a star is for the lack of enough seating and staff. I just wanted a bagel and it took the lady on the cashier 5 minutes to process the credit card of the person in front of me and the other cash counter was lying idle but with no one to man it. Just two people behind the counter- one taking the money and the other preparing the order can slow the pace a bit, which for someone as hungry as I was today can be an unpleasant experience. But, still, overall, love their muffins(tried their apple bran on my last visit-yum)and bagels, large variety of flavored cream cheeses and sandwiches. Will be back again very soon!

  3. Yummy bagels and wifi!

Down the street from my J-O-B, I've always been a tad bit curious to swipe a bagel and see for myself why they're always busy- so it seems.

Now, I know why. The bagels are pretty darn good. Pricy place, but I believe that's only due to location. (Literally down the street from the UN).

I called before stopping by to see if they had wifi and seating, so happy the response was "Yes, yes we do."- in a rather chipper voice. With just hearing the tone of voice the staff member had, sold me to come take a look and taste- of the food that is.

I have a few hours to spare before its punch in time and I'm glad I made this spot my choice rather than the typical Starbucks sit and run.

  4. I was excited for this place to open since it's only about half a block from where I work. I've been a few times now, and I do have to agree with the others that the service is kind of slow.  Hopefully since they have been open for a little while now they'll get the hang of it.

They have a good selection of bagels, spreads, muffins, sandwiches, smoothies, etc… So far I've only had the bagels.  I think the bagels are good.  They're big, I feel like they're more fluffy than dense, which I like.  Overall, I've enjoyed all the bagels.  I've only tried the scallion and sundried tomato cream cheese.  Both good as well, I was eyeing the baked salmon, but didn't feel like bringing fish into the office.  Maybe next time.

I think they still need to improve the service and get the hang of things, but foodwise it's good. I'll have to be more adventurous and try some of their other items out.  The muffins are in the front case where you pay and always look good.

Also this place is pretty small.  There are a few tables/places to eat, but I feel like it's definitely more geared towards take out.

  5. Great bagel shop in Tudor City / Murray Hill area. They're fast, efficient and have a really wide selection of cream cheeses (from tofu to low fat to chocolate chip to sun dried tomato!) and bagels.

The Whole Wheat Everything bagel definitely seems to be the most popular. They have flagels as well (flattened bagels) which is a nice touch.

They have a bunch of other things as well like fruit, oatmeal and a wide range of salmon etc but let's be honest, you go to a bagel shop for the BAGELS! 🙂

    Four solid stars. ****
