Chelsea Market Baskets
“Besides the baskets themselves, my other two faves is the baby section and the Cap Herb Spices.”
“Love their cookie brands from England and the delicious flavored potato chips along with crackers and very good cheese (always samples!)”
“But I know I want to go back to try some of those unusual flavors of chocolate bars and even lovely smelling lotions.”

What great customer service! I was looking around doing my own thing, but the staff here is too sweet! Even sweeter than the goodies they sell! Tiffany is a a sweetheart. Her personality was like catching up with a friend. I totally recommend visiting this store for your pantry needs.
This place has become my new favorite sweet shop. They have these Green tea White Chocolate covered almonds that I can't get enough of. I was so disappointed that on another visit they were all gone. What the hell! My second favorite is the Dark Chocolate covered popcorn which I was able to get but the lady at the counter told me that those were most likely the next to go. I'll check back in again but I'm going to be really sadden if I'm unable to get them anymore. Please place an order, make a new patch…whatever it is that you need to do to get me those amazing treats, PLEASE.
Guess new year is also a good time for some grocery shopping! Chelsea market basket had a huge selection of honey with different flavors and origins. Got a small lavender honey bottle for my home as I just finished my last bottle. They also sell waffle cookies, tea bags, cocktail mixers and truffles. I should have also got that sake infused truffle box…
You want exotic expensive foods and gifts? Just go here! This place is great if you want crazy chocolates, licorice, tea, coffee etc that you probably can't find in most non-specialty places.
I got these crazy Kenyan coffee beans that had cool packaging. It was in this giant box with some paper figures on the box. I have never seen this coffee anywhere else. Usually coffee beans are sold in bags…
I also got this gourmet licorice as a gift. It was in this fancy plastic jar.
This stuff is not the cheapest obviously but they make great gifts!
Interesting store – I guess its main business is creating gift baskets (see downstairs), so many of the products on offer are fun and unique foodie or NY themed items. I loved their reusable straw bag in a fun lime green color. I came thisclose to getting one as a souvenir but I held off since 2016 for me is The Year Of Don't Buy Useless Stuff. I did pick up some fahncy schmancy chocolates for the dog sitter (reportedly given thumbs up by said chocolate eater). Staff were super friendly (I asked some questions about flavors).
Ordered a gift basket for the lady — she said they did a beautiful job!
Customer service was really good once I was able to get through… although, it was not easy!
Prices seem very reasonable, and I will def be using them again.
I've been using them for years for birthday presents, thank-you presents, get-well gift baskets, all kinds of occasions. They are awesome and every single friend has thanked me greatly for these gifts. Their customer service is great too and very prompt and friendly over email. Gonna continue to be a loyal customer!!
After extended research on gift baskets online, this is the place to go! While they do offer nice gift baskets that are built for you, I recommend buying a basket and purchasing the items/goodies yourself as it is a personable gift and would mean a lot more.
I bought a willow picnic basket. There was a sale online and the customer service rep were nice enough to honor the deal. The picnic basket is very light weight and not meant to be super sturdy that you can toss around recklessly, but strong enough for a light picnic (sandwiches, small snacks and etc). I received a lot of compliment for the basket as it is very classy and elegant. If you are gifting it, I recommend dusting off/clean up the glasses in the basket so it looks extra sharp.
Recommended additionals to the basket:
1) Picnic blanket- They do offer it at a good price at Chelsea market.
2) Decorative napkins
3) Wine
4) Crackers
5) Chocolate/Cookies/Snacks
6) Grapes
7) Personal items related to the person/event
