It looks like the typical well-worn, cheap Chinese takeout place found in every corner of the 5 boroughs.
But I had higher hopes since it's arguably in or at least adjacent to Chinatown, so perhaps it would be better.
It wasn't.
It wasn't bad – just blah. I got a bunch of take out and while it was all seemingly fresh and bountiful, it was nothing more than boring and bland. It might be an o.k. place in Yuma, but not worth a stop when you're a 5 minute walk from one of the largest Chinatowns in the western world.
My boyfriend lives nearby Chen Wong and often orders their Half Fried Chicken over Fried Rice. I've tasted it and felt it was a decent meal in a Chinese take-out Restaurant. The fried rice is like extra dark (w/abundance of soy sauce) and the half fried chicken is crispy and tender. My boyfriend does not suggest ordering anything else from this take-out restaurant though. But I mean if you need a quick meal around the neighborhood, I'd come to Chen Wong for the half chicken over fried rice.

Wish I could give this place negative stars. Worse Chinese food I have ever had! And I think it's ironic since this is located near china town.
It was so gross and undercooked, we had to walk back and just get a refund. Save your money & go elsewhere!
