Got off the train at penn station and saw this place 'Chick Pea' with the slogan "Always baked, never fried" it caught my eye and I decided to stop in, my first thought is this is subway for falafels which isn't a bad thing, first you order something for it to go in either a pocket, wrap, salad or plate, then you choose the kind of hummus, next you get 4 toppings and tahini or hot sauce if you choose, I went with the pocket all of that for $7 which isn't a bad deal, my main complaint is that everything but the falafel including the pocket was cold, of course this doesn't beat any other falafel I've had but if I couldn't find another falafel maybe I'd come back, basically just like subway never beats a deli hero
