Everybody says their local Chinese place is pretty good, right? Over the years people have recommended to me China Kettle in the Key Food strip mall, but I never tried it until recently. The reason I finally did was for the ease of parking during the snow of January 2016. I was very pleasantly surprised that the food is fine, the service is polite and prompt, the place is very clean, the prices are good, and it's BYOB. We've been back many times. It's perfect for my elderly parents not only because of the parking but because the kitchen adjusts the salt and spice nicely upon request. IMO the food is on par with every other good NYC Chinese takeout, AND it's a really nice eat-in place.
