  1. Chinese takeout spots make such amazing chicken wings man.. I ordered chicken wings cause I was feening for fried chicken and ordered crab ragoon on top of that. Both were excellent and made fairly quick for pickup. Prices are extremely reasonable even for the non lunch special prices. Would order here again.

  2. I used to go here all the time, to get their general tso chicken to go. Fast and cheap. I also tried their eggplant and chicken w/ garlic sauce. The eggplant was not cooked thoroughly. I recently ordered their chicken wings w/ fries, do not order it because their wings are so small. I remember it didn't used to be that small. I'm not sure if it was just that batch or if the size of the wings have been down graded.

  3. talk da talk…wok da wok.
looking for classic NYC Chinese food for delivery or takeout?
    here you go:

not the fanciest Chinese food takeout/delivery/restaurant, it's pretty much a gritty joint on the corner of Avenue B and 3rd Street. no frills.

majority of the "restaurant" is the kitchen. there are a couple of tables with a few chairs if you want to eat in, but there's no heating or A/C so if it's sweltering during the summer or freezing during the winter. you're going to feel the sweat or the chill. majority of the business here is takeout OR delivery.

i pretty much come here for the Mai Fun (Chicken or Shrimp are my go-to's). it has the right amount of grease without being greasy. MSG heaven open your gates bc there's the right amount of salty savory that the chicken, veggies, and eggs are coated in. the noodles themselves are thin, firm, and tasty. i've also had various dishes here with the fried rice substituted out with fried brown rice…which was pretty good and a lil bit healthier.

the other standards like dumplings etc are just okay. i don't love them bc the dumpling skin is too thick. however i do love the scallion pancakes here–nice n oily!

the combination platters which are a half serving of a main dish, fried rice, egg roll, etc. are a good value if you are hungry and looking for variety. however there's not a lot of saving as a large portion is about 9-10 bucks and a combo platter is about 8-9 dollars.

the staff is friendly enough. they seem cool with making substitutions and changes without a frown.

you have to ask for the various sauce packets outside of soy sauce if you want them. they seem conscientious about not dropping a ton in your bag unless you ask.

drops mic so fork-twirl me some noodles with ease.
    i out.
    zzz.

  4. Ok. Better than my cheap local Chinese joint out on LI
