The food is typical chipotle grub you see at most of their chain stores.. It's a hit or miss sometimes. Came here a couple of times and got the salad with chicken and guacamole. The guacamole here tastes like they dropped the whole bag of salt in it. Definitely pricey for what you get.
I rarely write reviews for chain restaurants, let alone fast food or takeout joints. But I really need to give a shoutout to the staff and management of this location! My office regularly places large lunch orders here via fax, often for as many as 14 people. Not once have there been any missing components, nor had a mix-up of ingredients we did not order (sometimes due to individual diet restrictions and allergies), nor have we ever been mistakenly charged. I love Chipotle – it's quick, filling, and delicious. Can't go wrong with a riceless barbacoa burrito bowl with all the fixings. They make their Patrón margaritas strong, too! 😉
Hmmm yummy. My first time to check out a chipotle with my bf at late night. Lots of people drove there for some to-go burrito. Servers were nice and busy, sometime would ignore you. Food were good, better than Taco Bell, and way pricy than Taco Bell. I got a bowl and a burrito, actually nothing impressed me.
Great staff at this Chipotle location. You know the food, you know the flavors. YOU KNOW THE GUACAMOLE 🙂 – everyone was friendly and helpful to me who had my hands full with my crazy toddler and my yummy tacos. The counter man came over and gave my daughter an extra tangerine because he saw she dropped half of hers. These are the little things that make one location better than the next. This location is in a shopping center with a parking lot, so parking is a breeze. Ample highchairs for the kiddies.
Another solid Chipotle in the area. Who doesn't love that? Not that there is any shortage of places to eat within walking distance of this busy Great Neck intersection mind you.
Clean venue, open/airy dining room, friendly staff, quality food, efficient service, options to make your meal more healthy, etc. Pretty much all the things I look for in a Chipotle and they have it in spades here.
Menu is pretty standard for a Chipotle franchise so don't expect anything unique. That's not at all a complaint, just conforming what one should already be expecting.
It's ok. This location does not have the same vibe as some of the other Chipotles that I visit. The guacamole today was the consistency of chunky peanut butter with not much taste. Chips were just ok.
I only stooped here because it was on my way to work. I try to avoid this location ( I have been here before), and it's about the same each time. Just ok.
In general, I like Chipotle.
They've made an effort to minimize GMO ingredients in their stores and for that they have my respect. The ingredients appear to be fresh, and they seem to accommodate vegetarians very well.
In particular I like their burrito bowl. You can customize it, which I do so with brown rice, tofu, and guacamole. The guacamole here is better than that at subway, which is kind of watery and tasteless in comparison. In Chipotle guacamole costs two dollars extra, which seems a bit much, but it's quality fast food.
This particular location is quite busy and yet, many times I don't see more than 2-3 people manning the counter. Today, only two people were taking orders at noontime! Why scrimp on manpower in one of their most affluent and busy locations? Chipotle corporate should care more about this location.
Also, ages ago I arrived a minute or two after 11 am and I was told they were closed I replied its past 11, their opening time, and I was reluctantly let in, and my order was taken with concealed attitude. I think the lack of manpower here is bad for morale.
In addition, if you do order 4 or more entrees at the store, the employees get very distressed and ask you to get the app and order online or FAX your order. Fax? What is this? The 1980s? They really skimped on quantity that time, I suppose it was to give me a passive aggressive hint to get the app.
Chipotle is lucky since Great Neck doesn't have so many great vegetarian options, otherwise, this would be a last resort for me.
I come to this location a lot because it's close to my job and one of the few options for a quick bite. The parking lot can suck, but that's mainly because of the people that live in this area (but that's a whole other review). The staff are wonderful. They're friendly and move that line so quickly. The food is always fresh and the restaurant is clean. This is definitely one of the better Chipotles I've been to.
