  1. I don't know what to tell you, it's Chipotle.  If you've ever been in one before they all taste the same.  The service is surly but honestly I expect that in most fast food establishments.  The line is extremely long for lunchtime and wraps around the tables in the center but it goes pretty quickly.  This place hits the spot when I'm in the mood for it.

  2. i simply cannot fathom the size of these brick heavy meals. it is simply amazing. super fresh food. made to order meals. fast service.

  3. This little Chipotle snuck up on me.  I live in the area and I often eat lunch on West 56th, as there are tons of lunch spots on this street.  This Chipotle is on the corner of West 56th and 6th Ave.  The food is the typically solid, but not stunning Mexican food that Chipotle turns out.

I got chicken tacos in a soft corn tortilla.  How exciting, eh?  I actually went a little nuts and put the medium salsa on my tacos.  Crazy, I know.  The food was good, the service was fast, too.  The only downside to this location is that it is really small, with limited seating – definitely a grab and go back to your desk type of spot.

  4. I remember when this location first opened–I think I ate here once a week. Times have changed and I rarely visit anymore, but Chipotle is a standard lunch spot in this area. I don't mean to sound like a broken record but yeah, the lines are long. Either you get in and wait or go somewhere else. Or order online, like my work place does and avoid the line. This place clears out nicely after work, so don't look it over for cheap but strong margaritas and chips. I think Chipotle's margaritas are their best kept secret.

I want to take the time to give a special shout out to the employees working behind the counter–they have always been friendly and fast. I once saw them deal with the drunken mess that is the St. Patrick's day parade and all the fools it brings to this area, so I will give them props.

  5. Busy location, but the line moved pretty quickly here. Also noticed if you get a bowl, they give a large quantity here compared with other Chipotles I've ordered at. Ordered a chorizo rice bowl and a chorizo salad bowl. Chorizo isn't that good. Meat is kind of tough and dry. Spice level of the chorizo is okay, not too spicy. They gave more toppings for the bowl with rice more than my salad, but still a good portion. They also have staff coming around the tables to clean trays and to make sure there are open seats for people to sit. Good amount of seatings. Not bad at all considering it's in such a busy neighborhood and it was quick to order even though it is rush hour now. 3 stars, chips were super stale, yuck.

  6. There is usually a very long line at this place and the ordering area is tiny, so generally I just walk on by.  But after going to the gym, I walked by and saw that there was not a line at all so I went in and ordered a burrito.

The food was very good.  Steak burrito with black beans and the fresh salsa and some sour cream.  The staff was efficient and friendly.

I was in a bit of sticker shock when I got the bill.  $10 for my burrito.  I was like "Whoa!"   I am probably just ignorant about burrito prices because I haven't had one in a while but that just seems like a lot of money.

If it's empty, it's a great place drive your Bentley or Rolls to get your super pricey burrito.  Due to the small footprint of the store, if there's a line you'd be better off going some place else unless you are really craving Chipotle.

  7. Line goes fast, people are nice and the food is fresh.

I have eaten in here as well as done take out. They move FAST, so you should too.

  8. Been here a couple of times and if it's not one thing it's another.  They have a line but it's not because so many people are here to eat, it's because they take forever to get your plate ready.  If you come here just come when you have ample time because it doesn't matter if it's lunch time or some random time, you're going to be there for a while.

I joined their chiptopia rewards program and I was supposed to get a free guac and chips after my first order so I go in and they charged me the guacamole and without her saying anything she just charges my card, I asked why did I get charged I'm supposed to get it for free because of chiptopia and she says it's because I didn't want to get the chips with it. There wasn't any restrictions anywhere on the program or their website that says I have to get the chips with it but whatever.

I went back yesterday to see if I can get the guac and chips and with the chips of course because then they will charge me anyway I get back to work so I can finally enjoy my lunch from waiting a million years on the line and they gave me the wrong order, I mean how many times can you go wrong. I am officially done with this Chipotle location, I will be taking the extra trip to the nearest location so I won't have to deal with them.
