I literally call myself "The Chipotle Guy" so perhaps I'm not objective.  But I do like my Chipotle and if a location doesn't have uncleared garbage, it's getting ****.  This location was fine and I finally got to try the not-really-that-new-anymore chorizo which was surprisingly good.  Note that Chipotle also serves some of the cheapest margaritas in the city.

  2. I LOVE Chipotle. The floor is two stars.

But this location in particular is awful. Slow, bad service, taking extra time to make sure they didn't accidentally give you too much meat. I could count the number of slivers of cheese on my burrito tonight. It's always a mess and they really seem to hate the nerve of some customers for trying to get a burrito.

I can't believe I'm saying it but Tres Carnes on the same block is much better. Get it together Chipotle!

  3. Great location, fast service and relatively healthy solution for on the go lunch. Same food as I would expect from any other Chipotle location!

  4. The only reason I give this place one star is because it's the closest Chipotle near me and I love their salads. Unfortunately, the staff here is so rude and never items when you are making your salad. The place is always dirty and tables are never cleaned. I always have to take my food to go.

This location is also running out of everything. If it's not the brown rice it's the lettuce or chicken. It's in an extremely busy location so they should anticipate food portions.

If you are willing to walk there's a location down by 14th and one on 9th avenue with Becker employees and they never run out of food.

  5. I am a Chipotle fan, so I am pleased that this location. It's easy to run in here and be waited on fairly quickly, even at lunchtime when the line gets pretty long.

  6. Quite recently intravenous drug users and pot smokers used to use the restaurant here to do there thing; there was even a security guard posted there for quite some time. It seems this trend may have been corrected. And the services has improve — mostly. Problem is, last time I went there, I wanted to wash my hands before eating, and asked for the bathroom code. The cashier insisted I needed the bathroom code. Another was kind enough to give me the code. I used the bathroom and told the counter folks I'd be going elsewhere for my burrito.

  7. A good little chipotle this one. Good vibes and easy access to the train. Service always on point. I had double chicken – no rice, no beans — and guac with some tomato and Chipotle Tabasco. Good place for a fussy eater. Appreciate the frosh lemons.

  8. I'm a Chipotle fan in general but I have to say that this particular location was really bad when I went.  I visited at about 2:30 pm on a Saturday.  It wasn't particularly busy.

When I get up to the counter to order they are out of black beans and tell me that it will be a wait.  I didn't have time to wait so I order the pinto beans which they were scrapping the bottom of the container to have enough.  The girl in front of me ordered fajitas which at that point consisted of a few sparse peppers and strings of onions. The guy scraped what remained in that container onto her bowl and looked at her like it was an adequate amount for the upcharge.  Her friend wanted fajitas too, so they ended up having to step aside and wait for what they were told would be about "5 minutes".

My bowl is ready to be paid for and I'm standing with my credit card out for a good solid 1 minute watching the cashier try and wipe down trays making me wait to pay.  I was kind of annoyed he was making me stand there and wait for him to finish cleaning, but I also feel bad that he is the only person trying to do all the cleaning as well.

I go to sit down and the majority of the tables are filthy with various pieces of trash scattered on the floor.

There were a bunch of workers in the back and to me it seems like there was more than enough personnel to keep things well supplied, stocked and clean, but it just wasn't happening.  It took me about 10 minutes to devour my chicken bowl and I noticed that those girls that that had been in front of me were still waiting for their fajita veggies obviously pissed off at this point.

Something needs to change at this Chipotle as it seems to not be running very well.

Summary: Standard Chipolte food although they may be scrapping the bottom of the bin to fill your bowl.  Poorly managed with employees standing around in a filthy restaurant.
