I wish I could be that guy who eats Chipotle every day. This Chipotle has great service! The line is so long since it is in Union Square, but the people working there are really nice and accommodating. I had a problem with meat cross contamination since I'm vegetarian and the manager Angie was so nice about and made sure that servers were better about not touching meat to vegetarian meals in the future.
I'm never disappointed when I go to chipotle this one is not crowded which is cool.
The tofu veggie burrito is delicious as the veggie bowl. Great location to hang out after a lunch or dinner :))
Good eats, and geez these guys are fast! My food was ready before I could spit out the rest of my order.
As always, my trusty Chipotle satisfied my craving for guac, steak, corn and their chipotle vinaigrette. I usually go to the Union Square location, but they were quite busy.
Although I was wary of the St. Marks location since they're so close to NYU–college students being their prime targets, I mean customers–I was pleasantly surprised to find a spotless restaurant and no line!
To the dude who understands what "lots of corn and sour cream" truly means, thank you for making my Tuesday night.
Chipotle is always delicious, quick and fresh ingredients. I was a bit unhappy here because the line moved SOOO slow which was confusing because there were 3 customers in the entire place….
Also i was not the happiest because although i did get there for a later dinner, they were running out of everything! The places closes pretty late so they should have enough stock to last until close.
Overall though, chipotle will alway have a special place in my heart
There's not much to say about Chipotle. This joint has it all. The Steak burrito I ordered was prepared fresh right in front of my eyes with a choice between white or brown lime cilantro rice, black or pinto beans, and a choice of sauces and condiments. It's sorta like a Subways but with a choice between a burrito, a salad, a burrito bowl and a taco.
The corn was my favorite condiment. That along with the brown rice and sour cream really hit the spot. Oh man It was delicious!
They don't skimp out with the food either. The whole burrito I bought must have been around a pound and a half of yummy goodness.
Now, if the price wasn't so high, i would consider coming here more. $9 for a burrito (even though it was huge and tasty) is out of my budget. The workers there were fast, efficient and very friendly. I recommend coming here if you're hungry and want a fast and efficient meal!!
Service was horrendous. 4 younger staff left an older lady to work the bar by herself while they goofed off, were clearly listening to music on the side of the kitchen, being loud and coming to the front chewing food, laughing and continuing to talk about whatever they we're doing in the back. It was extremely unprofessional and I think the management should know this. Customer service is important and ignoring the customer without apologizing for making them wait for you because you're too immature to care is unnecessary. Hopefully service will improve but I won't be back to this one to find out. Food was good tho so that's a plus.
So on the 23rd of August, my friend and I decided to eat Chipotle's. She initially did NOT want to but I just decided we should for the hell of it. I ordered the Barbacoa burrito with brown rice, cheese, mild salsa, pinto beans etc. I always add the Chipotle sauce also. It gives it just the nice hint of spice.
My issue with Chipotle stems from it being a chain. Now, no issue with that. I don't eat this food as often because it's pricey although I'm always full after eating it. In April of 2012, this was the first time I ever ate this food. My sister raved about it and I did not try it. I went to an event that served the party size burritos. I could not finish the party size burrito. It was too much although it was half of the initial burrito. Over time, I've been noticing that their portion sizes have shrunken. They don't put enough meat, enough rice, enough cheese, salsa etc. If I'm paying $9 for your food, give me my money's worth. They can't seem to do that. That's upsetting to me and it's a reason I don't eat here. When I ate the burrito for the second time in September 2012, I could only eat half. I lost a lot of weight, so the burrito at the moment should NOT fill me up like that. I think Chipotle is only good for a "Once in a blue moon" moment but after that, there's nothing there. You can find better.
