I am a big Chipotle fan but this is not the best place to get it. The staff is under trained and inconsistent. I came here at 8pm on a sunday and it seemed like the staff was underprepared, they ran low on Carnitas and the server gave us a small helping of each. I'd rather they let us know to wait a few minutes to get a full order. We came once they restocked and asked for more and they gave it to us in a condiment cup which was fine.
It seems like this location needs to shape up a little. A well run Chipotle like the Chipotle in the Financial District or even the Chipotle nears 50th street on the west side are much better examples of what's possible.
If any representatives from Chipotle is reading I would highly recommend the staff be retrained here and I would reevaluate if changes are made.
Stuffed with my burrito bowl. Service is fast. Needs more seating at this location. It's also not between 43rd and 44th – it's the corner of 9th and 44th.
This was actually the best location in my opinion but after finding a bug in my burrito changed my mind. I bought a burrito and then realized it was too messy to eat so i unwrapped it to eat and as i was picking through the ingredients, i noticed this black thing .. Of course i thought it was just a piece of bean or something or maybe a spice of some kind .. But nope it was a bug. It was a squished mosquito. It ruined my day completely.
I don't know how chipotle can be more cautious about flying bugs and insects, but just hope theres something they can do about it so someone else wont find a creature inside their food.
This chipotles might be the worst chipotle in New York City maybe in the whole country.
Service is lousy, the portion is always very very small, manager doesn't do anything in reaction to customers' dissatisfaction.
Unfortunately because I live close by I would still come to this place once a week. Whenever I order to go the tortilla is always missing when I get home, always….

I have been a huge Chipotle fan up until this point. But man this is the worst one I've been to. Here is a list of strange things that happened.
1) the guy asks me if I want brown or white rice and I say brown, he gives me the smallest scoop of brown rice as if there was some type of shortage despite a heaping mound of rice in front of him.
2) apparently there is a bag shortage at this place and had no big bags so she stuck my food in a small bag upside down and well my food is all over the bag.
3) the bag of chips I paid for were essentially half eaten (see my picture)
4) and one of the people in line ahead of me seemed like he worked there and was just swearing casually with the people making food. And the guy putting together his meal was just dropping some n'bombs back at this guy.
Seriously Chipotle?
I am a Chipotle fan girl all the way around. Sometimes I love me some crispy tacos or I swing over to the burrito bowl side but either way, the quality is always great (so far) at every Chipotle I've ever been too. Though this specific location definitely lacks in quantity. The portions they dish out here is way too small for a tiny hungry Asian chick whose really a fat chick inside! Come on, stop being so cheap 9th Ave Chipotle!

I like this one becuase there is never a line out the door, the service is friendly AND they actually seem happy could be fake but I like a happy worker!!
