Super fast and generous amounts! Really friendly staff and fast working. You can tell they are really trying hard to work as fast and efficiently as they can.
The thing that chain restaurants are generally supposed to do right is achieve consistency. If i go to a starbucks in Rome or Seattle, they will make their gingerbread latte the same (bad coffee is bad coffee). Chipotle is usually this way as well. I can go to most Chipotle locations and get the same chicken or salsa, as the recipe is the same and prep is generally the same.
Aside from the food, the service is usually about on par, with some locations going a little beyond. This NEW location of chipotle, does none of the above. Nothing here is consistent with other nearby locations, and the service is poor.
1. How is it that by 11:45, every container of food is empty and slow to be refilled. This is called the lunch rush. No one here is in a rush.
2. The salsas are all off, tastewise and the guac is always brown, just just the bit on top that tends to happen, but all of it.
3. Portion control: meager portions of everything. Today, one employee even remarked to another, "you can give them more rice than that…" I had to ask for regular tomato salsa 3 times to receive the amount any other location offers as the usual
4. Speed: even when only a few people are in line, it takes forever. Two people working the line and several people mulling around.
In an area where it should do well, this Chipotle will not last if they are this slow and make lesser tasting food.
