  1. Extremely crafty way for Chobani to make some serious money. I was sucked into here because of the extremely aesthetic and inviting interior. I wasn't planning to order anything, but everything on the menu looked too tempting that I couldn't resist (no regrets).

We tried the half-size of Mango & Avocado, and it was really delicious! Nice combo of jalapeno bits with sweet mango.

I recommend coming here (at least to peek inside) at least once. I wouldn't come here regularly because it's probably not worth upwards of $7 on Chobani yogurt..

ALSO ask for the glass bowl (free with purchase)!  I did not know this until after we left 🙁

  2. I'm in love with this spot.    Good coffee and and assort of natural foods to eat.  The yogurt combinations are tastefully done and they offer a nice selection of smaller dishes to choose from.   This is an ideal spot for someone looking for a drink and snack in the morning.  Check it out.   The place is visually appealing as well.  They have nice touch with the wood finishes and even serve you on a slice of a trunk

  3. That's some sexy looking yogurt! This place is rather small but the place is so trendy, casual and inviting, it's a cool place to visit. There are limited seats and a standing bar area, the seats are first come, first serve, so It's more of a quick eat and go kinda place. I have been a fan of the supermarket Chobani for a while and this kinda feels like a high end craft yogurt bar which was great. Also, if you ask the servers, they give you a brand new dish that they wrap up and you can take home. The dishes are well made and they look good, it's a really nice freebie.

    The food:

Fresh Fruit + Granola- Seasonal fresh fruit, signature granola blend, clover honey. I really really loved this flavor. This an absolute must order and it really was as delicious as it looked. I loved the fresh fruit, the granola added a wonderful texture and the clover honey had such a pure essence of honey, then the Chobani yogurt added a nice tart flavor with a wonderful smoothness. yelp.com/user_local_phot…

Blueberry + Power- Fresh Blueberries, chia, pumpkin, and toasted sunflower seeds, walnut, light agave nectar. The textures on this were wonderful, the blueberries are the predominate flavor and I loved the crunch from the toasted seeds and the walnut, then the light agave nectar added a nice sweetness to mellow out some of the tartness from the yogurt. So good.

Pistachio + Chocolate- Pistachios, dark chocolate flakes, sliced orange, fresh mint, clover honey. The flavor profile on this one was so unique, but totally worked. I really liked the pairing of the bitter chocolate with the sweet honey and the tart yogurt, throw in some mint and oranges and I am sold. The pistachios which I normally love, didn't have a strong presence, they were nice but they didn't add as much as I would have thought/hoped. yelp.com/user_local_phot…

  4. Omg yum. I had never had savory yogurt before, but this was amazing. Greek yogurt with olive oil, cucumber and mint. I liked it so much I made it at home after. Bravo!

Great quick bite if you're on the go in Soho!

  5. I could seriously live off yogurt for the rest of my life – I got over how bizarrely scary yogurt bacterial cultures look under the microscope. When my refrigerator is otherwise barren except for some batteries and baking soda, I can count on some containers of Fage and Chobani hanging out on the top shelves.

We each got one of the fruit + honey + granola bowls. I wished for more than a few spoonfuls of granola and a lot more honey to balance out the tartness of the yogurt.

Yes, it's pricey as all get out: $5 for a half portion.
    Yes, it's an Instagram ploy.
Yes, you will be sitting next to a even mixture of people holding up their yogurts in the air like a delicious dairy lighter at a Matchbox20 concert and tourists poring over the menu.
Yes, the space is tight, but the employees find a way to maneuver around and so will you.

Speaking of, the two guys manning the front counter were so awesome and friendly. My cousin was more in the mood for froyo instead of Greek yogurt, one of the guys kindly pointed out that there was a froyo truck a few blocks away. When she later realized she did want some of that Chobani goodness after all, he joked around with her and made the spot-on recommendation to add the fresh raspberries.

Bonus: If you order to stay, you can take the glass Chobani bowl to go and eat more of that delicious yogurt in the privacy of your own home.

  6. How cool, a Chobani store!

I enjoy Chobani yogurt from time to time and pick some up from my grocery store. Figured I'd check out their store to see what's different. They offer sweet yogurt creations, dips, sandwiches, soup, rice pudding, and coffee/teas.

Tried their strawberries with granola sweet creation. It came with beautiful pieces of strawberries, their signature granola blend, and clover honey. They place everything in a glass bowl, which you get to keep. I still use that bowl at home. Employees were quick and friendly. The store is very neat and organized. Some seating is available inside, few counter seats and little tables. This is more of a grab and go type place.

Great place to check out if you want a healthy snack or lunch.

  7. A one of a kind place when I tried this because my friend wanted me to try this place really badly. Not to large in space at all, but they have stools that overlooks the streets with large windows which is really nice, which gives the illusion that the place is larger than it really is. The colors alone will make you want to eat from Chobani. The staff there are really friendly as well. They are willing to help and give samples and give advice for which flavors go best with what.

  8. Wait, what did you just say? There's a straight up Chobani store that mixes up fresh yogurt creations on the spot? Um, I'm in love with NYC. This SoHo hipster establishment boasts both healthy dessert eating and a cute wooden sit-down environment for friends and young families alike.

    Here's how it works:
    1. Walk in (the easiest part)
    2. Choose from a menu of yogurt mixes from blueberry power-up (my fave with fresh berries plus granola, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, agave) to fresh fruit of the day, etc. Or choose from a variety of sandwiches as well. Note: two different sizes are available. The yogurt was smoother than I imagine when buying the store alternatives…yum.
    3. Order from the cashier up front if you're paying with cash. Otherwise, find anyone with an iPad and order with credit card.
    4. Grab dibs on an available table and dig in.

And true to other tips, once done, you can request to take the glass container home.
