I totally loved this place! Great place for a great cup of coffee! Formerly known as do you tea? They do still sell some of the teas that were available.
Everything is fresh and so delish! Looking forward to my next visit !
Doesn't every city dweller desire a boulangerie and coffee shoppe in their neighborhood? Wishes granted, Heights residents!
This location is THE best; it reminds me of the original Jersey City location's quality. The treats are so fresh and flakey, and they serve a loaf you'll want to eat with every meal. The coffee is pair-worthy. Airy and bright, this place invites people to sip and savor.
And now for your third wish: yes, there's shopping! And the product is excellent. Bloomsbury Square, an all-natural skin care line shares this space. Not prone to impulse purchases I didn't give in, but my friend bought me one! The lotion/lip balm is so emollient and is ever-lasting.
Thank the Gentrification Fairy, Mayor Fulop, for this!
When I heard a Choc O Pain was opening up in The Heights I was pretty excited, and after several visits I can say I haven't yet been disappointed. There is usually only one person working the counter and while this means there may be a bit of a wait, the service is always so friendly a nice you end up not minding the wait. Lattes and cappuccinos are good and what you'd expect to find, and the breads are awesome. They usually have one or two interestingly shaped breads (leaf, sunburst), as well as about six different types of breads. Recently I was able to try one of their breakfast sandwiches and really liked it (spinach, egg, and ricotta I think).
