This is specifically for delivery. Bf and i decided to go for a different chinese since there are so many around… sigh.. it has yet to be a pleasant surprise. Nothing was particularly bad with this spot. The delivery time given was accurate, we got a free wonton soup because our order was over a certain amount, food was hot, portions seemed good..
There was just something a little off. My bf's 2 fav dishes are crispy beef and Singapore noodles. The crispy beef usually spicy and even when ordering they asked for level of spice.. But the dish came off more sweet than spicy. Just weird.. and mostly breading rather than meat.
Singapore noodle we requested hot and spicy but it wasn't very spicy. And there wasn't as much meat, egg etc. Just no noodle.
Moo Shu chicken was pretty good. Not greasy, good amount. The pancakes they give you are more like flour tortillas than the thin rice pancakes i am used to. Also they were kinda cheap with the sauce.
House seafood soup had a lot of seafood. Pretty good. All in all it was fine but definitely better choices nearby.
Your very standard NYC "Chinese" food (even though it's not really Chinese at all). Quality is fine for the price. Most things are covered in fatty sauce, sometimes fried – but hey – what do you expect? Delivery is reliable and super fast. General Tso's is my favorite even though it has about 23093039 calories.
