Chung Shing Meats is a local Chinese butcher shop that specialize in meats prepared Chinese style of all variable ethnic Chinese backgrounds. My fam usually attains pork which is freshly cut as we wait. The pork is moist and well prepared. Staff is helpful and fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.
I was in NY on business a couple of years ago. My father wanted some chinese sausages as a souvenir. Well I stumbled upon this shop while I was walking around NY C-Town. They had all these sausages hanging by the window. Went in bought a pound. Threw it in my suitcase (which left grease marks on my clothes btw) and went home.
These were the best damn sausages we ever had! My father "King of Bulk" admonished me for not buying more in bulk (dare I do that since I didn't even know if it was good?). Darn, they don't do mail order but if I'm ever back in NY, you'd bet I'd buy the sausages again!
