Simple place to pick up a quick bite to eat. $5 min charge for credit cards.
This is a decent deli on weekends, when the majority of convenience grubs in the area are closed. The salad selection was below par (maybe because it was the weekend), but the soup I ordered was tasty.
Very sweet woman owner who runs the store with her husband. Kitchen staff is also very nice. You can tell that it's a new operation but they're trying hard.
Interior is very long and narrow and offers limited seating with about three 2-top tables. Great order-and-go spot. Besides their fresh breakfast, sandwich and salad options, they also serve coffee and espresso drinks, cold beverages, Asprin, cereal, Juice Bar, snacks, etc. etc. Kind of like a deli mixed with a mini-convenience store.
My co-workers and I have enjoyed everything we've had from here so far. I like that they have a "Healthy Sandwiches" portion of the menu. The menu consists of your basic deli sandwiches, hot and grill options like burgers and cheesesteaks, wraps, paninis and salads. You can customize your own salad completely which is nice and the options are endless.
My favorite so far is the Mayor Mike's BLT which is Smoked Turkey, bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato and Mayo. Although the Grilled Chicken with fresh mozzarella, roasted pepper and Pesto is also very good, Prices are more than reasonable for generous portions – very, very reasonable. The owner is so sweet and it's a great addition to Tribeca – they also do Catering at VERY reasonable prices!
Dependable place.
If this is your neighborhood,
You can count on it.
I get omelet platters from them pretty regularly on seamless. They are tasty, come hot and well made. They are also HUGE and cheap. After tax and tip a $10 breakfast can get me through my entire work day – now that's what I call economy.
It's cheap and very fast if nothing else. You can be in and out of here with a breakfast wrap in two minutes flat but it's not going to change your life or be memorable.
