This place has all the wines that you can think of from ceiling to floor. It also has hard liquor and champagne. The staff is nice and seem to know what they are talking about. We were looking for some great wine for Thanksgiving that wasn't to expensive. We def found what we were looking for plus a fun wine too. It was a coconut moscato for dessert. I would come here if you are looking for any wines to complete your meal or pick up a gift.
I have never had the pleasure of visiting the actual store for City Wine Cellar, but I've ordered products online. The website is super easy to operate and the selection is very organized. In addition to the different wines and spirits they also sell accessories and gift sets.
The online pricing is similar to what you would find in a store, the only difference is that you have to pay for shipping. Shipping one bottle to DE ran me about $20, with one day delivery.I actually found City Wine Cellar to be the best priced on a variety of spirits compared to other online vendors.
I did run into an issue, but as soon as I brought it to the attention of the customer service at City Wine Cellar they corrected it.
City Wine Cellar was easy to work with and is perfect for ordering wine and spirits online.
What's not to love about this liquor store? Excellent selection of wines including unique Turkish and the more ubiquitous Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc. Their prices are very reasonable – almost ware house club level. Specifically, I've seen wines at South Shore liquor stores prices $3-$5 more that at City Wine. They also have Kosher wines if you have religious dietary requirements or need to bring a bottle to someone's house.
They don't just sell wines, don't let the name fool you. They have hard liquors and champagne. They sell cold wines and champagnes if you're in a hurry. Check in and get a free old-fashioned wine opener.
My favorite Wine and Spirits store in Staten Island
They carry pretty much everything and every brand you can think of including all different flavors of your choice of Adult juice.
Thanks to being such a large store ,they're able to carry huge stocks which helps them have the best prices . Because obviously the more their able to buy at a time the less they get it for so the less we have to pay for it
everybody wins !!
The workers are always informative when helping you find something or helping you decide on what to get .
They sell a bunch of supplies and gift sets too
Located in the shopping plaza next to Barnes & Noble with plenty of parking and they're open pretty late. Always my go to store
I am a little spoiled by NJ liquor stores but City Wine comes close. The prices are very reasonable for NY and they have an wonderful selection of wine and spirits. I always find the staff to be very friendly and knowledgable when asking for a recommendation. They often have tastings of wine and liquor and I've found a few new favorites after having a sample. I wish we had more places like City Wine on the Island!
Excellent selection, helpful staff and very competitive pricing. By the far the best liquor store on Staten Island. Their wine prices, especially, are very reasonable. We typically go to NJ for our wine & liquor, but there's no need now with City Wine Cellar.
