Nothing says Maryland Crabhouse like an obscure restaurant off the Belt Parkway, behind a giant movie theater.

Kidding aside, this place is great. I have lots of fond memories coming here. I haven't been here in awhile, but for two straight summers I came here often.

As I mentioned, it's a bit annoying to get to. It never deterred me though. In fact, it help keep volume down at times. If people knew about how good this place is for groups of people in the summer, it would be packed! There's no better place in that neck of the woods, when the weather is nice.

Sit out in the back. Get some sun. Have some drinks. And relax.

If you have a large group of people, they can accommodate you both inside and outside. As I mentioned though, it's all about being outside. Out back they have lots of tables and couches. The servers are friendly and will always be happy to take care of groups.

The food doesn't blow me away, but it's good. I love the crab cakes. Prices are fair, especially compared to the prices I deal with these days.

I'm making it a goal for 2015, to come back and reminisce. If I can remember how to get here.

My brother-in-law suggested that we eat here before heading to the movies nearby. This place is hidden;  it's tucked away on the water along the Belt Parkway. I started with buffalo wings, which was pretty decent. I ordered the special of the day for my entree: 1/2 rack ribs with French fries and corn on the cob (apparently it was the first time this was on menu) for $14.95. The ribs had a dry rub seasoning, which was ok. The meat fell off the bone…the way it should be :). I wasn't in the mood for french fries, so I ordered a side of vegetables. I think the vegetables may have been the best part of my meal lol. It had broccoli and julienne sliced carrots sautéed in garlic and oil. What I appreciate the most about the veggies was the fact that they were fresh and cooked just right, so you still taste the crunch.

We came here on a Monday for the all you can eat crabs. The weather was super crappy so the place was almost empty which was great. We got our food quickly and the servers were nice. The crabs aren't that big but you can have as many as you want so it doesn't matter! I tried both flavors and can't decide which I liked better. I'll be coming back when the weathers nice because they have a great deck overlooking the marina

We came here because of its location, there's a very nice balcony for guests to sit outside by the bay, but it's a bit chilly so we sat inside. They were not busy on a weekday evening, four of us ordered a ton of lobsters, clams and oysters. I must say that those clams were ok but the oysters were not so great. I had about two (normally I could eat a dozen when it's fresh and sweet) and moved on to try the crabs. They were very light on the flavor, I wouldn't mind if they were fresh but they were also just mediocre, so the whole experience was bleh. We made a huge mess eating, apologize, but the server entertained us saying that were actually not so bad. It's a nice place during the summer, I guess we just didn't go at the right time.

It was a 50 min drive to get to the restaurant from Queens but if you have a craving for crabs this place hits the spot!  Pay attention when you're driving it looks like you're going to get lost in some parking lot full of parked boats but if you drive past that you'll find the restaurant in the back and you have to valet park your car!

The service was pretty good although we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated and after we ordered and received our food they forgot the utensils and we had to ask for it- twice.   I thought I wanted to do the all you can eat deal but I'm glad they weren't offering that deal because in the end I couldn't eat more than a 3 crabs lol. So we saved a lot of money by just splitting a dozen crabs between my husband and myself.

Get the garlic and oil crabs and ask for old bay seasoning on the side. The crabs taste the best with both flavors!

Book marked this place for months and i finally got to try it last night. I came in on a sunday night around 5pm and it was empty. Its definitely casual but cozy. Lighting is very dim. For such a local restaurants, i expected the waitress/waiters to be more friendly.

Food was great for most part. We had:
Crab chowder – everything i wanted it to be. Creamy & chunky.
Crab cakes w/ cajun remolade – 3 tiny pieces but good. Sauce was my favorite. Salad that came with the crab cakes was inedible. Overdressed would be a Understatement.
Alaskan crab legs was delicious. Super fresh. Corn that came with it was inedible.
Fresh clams linguine – simple & perfect. Clams were fresh, linguine was al dente, my favorite dish.

Hands Down!!!! This place is money! We came all the way from White Plains in search of Maryland Crabs and we found the place. My husband enjoys driving so he didn't mind the long trip. We are crab fanatics so when my hubby was searching online for Maryland crabs, Clemente's was one of the choices.

When we pulled up to the parking lot, we were salivating!!! The music was pumping and the DJ hit all the right notes: awesome hustle music and your regular Top 40 songs. We were so anxious to go for the All-You-Can-Eat, our server mentioned that option is just for Monday & Tuesday. No Worries. We went for the 1/2 oz each. As we drank our cocktails, we took in the pumping music.

Drum roll please….. We got our crabs in a huge bowl with corn and a side order of fries. OMG. Clemente's is the spot. And they were delicioussssss.
We were winding down and about to pay with a card. The only downside about Clemente's is that they don't accept cards. But they do have an ATM inside.

Clemente's is every bit the spot for us. If you want a taste of Maryland without traveling for hours on end, for sure come here!!!!!!!

I've been to this place a lot. Usually in the summer and just to chill out back with some friends and drinks. Rarely did I eat.

Recently I decided this place can't just stay open from beer sales, so the food must be good. So I went with a group and we ate. All in all I enjoyed the food, the rock shrimp app is really good. I like my fried shrimp crunchy and they do it just like that. Also split some snow crab and king crab legs and I must say I enjoyed the hell out of it. My friend got the 1 1/4  pound lobster and she said it was also very good. Most importantly, I will be back and not just to get a sunburn and a beer.
